FAQ

Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q:How can a vacuum cleaner take out the dust?
This filter is a protective barrier to prevent rupture of dust bag dust inhalation of the motor, the air enters the motor through the motor outflow, due to carbon in the operation of electric motor constant wear, so the outflow of the vacuum cleaner with a filter.
Q:Hello! I was wondering if Vacuum cleaners get rid of germs. I mean, when I think about it, doesn't it probably suck all the germs up? Perhaps it may not kill germs, but it at least gets rid of them on a particular surface(like the carpet.)And if they don't get rid of germs, than how can I get rid of germs on the carpet? I know that Steam Cleaning and shampooing the carpet are good measures, but I don't want to do that on like a weekly basis. I am looking for something that can get rid of germs at least once a week.
clorox came out with a product recently that is like their hard surface sanitizer but for fabrics. I like it and use it probably once a week on everything ( mattress, carpets, etc) It does however say that over time it may lead to fading of dark fabrics so beware.
Q:where can i buy a kirby vacuum cleaner for really cheep price?
Estate sales and Auctions getting rid of family possessions. Also, stores that sell new and used vacuum cleaners will have them for sale. New machines are grossly over priced as huge commissions are involved for the sales person.
Q:I'm just curious about how often people vacuum. I have gone through yet another vacuum cleaner in a little over a year. I think it is because I vacuum every day sometimes twice a day and most people I know have vacuums that last years but they only do it once a week...possibly twice a week at the most. Thanks!
It's the vacuum you are buying. My stepmother used to vacuum the entire house (four bedrooms, 2 living rooms, stairs) everyday and her vacuum cleaners lasted years.
Q:Vacuum Cleaners...please tell me the BEST one out there?!?!?!?
Most okorder /... It's been my experience that the more expensive vacuums don't last any longer than the cheap ones (about 2 years) so these are the ones I buy.
Q:Which vacuum cleaner moves easier for a person in a wheelchair? Are there controls that you have to use your feet for? How do they work in small rooms?
The new dyson dc24 with the ball is super duper light weight and easy to push and turn. I don't know anything about a shark. The dyson is nice because the hose is so easy to pop out, and it has a handle so one could easily clean crevices and corners. The switches are on the main part of the vacuum, right below the handle and above the canister. It would work very well in a small room because it is a small vacuum.
Q:I've owned a number of upright bagless vacuum cleaners, and they have all sucked (well, they've actually all stopped sucking to be precise). The Dyson claims to never lose its power, but its also 5x more expensive than the average upright. Is it worth it?
Get the Oreck. They suck quite nicely. No, really. Get the Oreck, you won't be disappointed. We are on our second one. The first one was used almost daily for my wife's cleaning business and lasted 7 years.
Q:Her husband came home to find his wife sitting in the chair and two vacuum cleaners in front of her.what are you doing? he inquiredWell........ I'VE just done the vacuuming' she retorted proudlyhow do you figure? he askedWell, the guy at the shop told me .........'cuts your work in half'....................so i bought two:)
LOL! Thats really stupid of her lol. But theres a blonde joke for you
Q:I have waited a year or so to finally get my hands on a hand vacuum cleaner because my mom said we needed to get a good one. Well she finally bought one, but she only bought it because it was ON SALE. I don't know much about hand vacuum cleaners, except this one SUCKS.It's by Sunbeam and it's called quot;Star Elite. It doesn't have a lot of power, only has a small opening to collect dirt etc (1quot;x 1cm) and is horrible at picking up stray pieces of hair. It only also works for 15 minutes and then it has to be charged for 15 hours. The main problem out of all that I have is the lack of power and horribly ability to pick up stray hair off the ground.Does anyone know a hand vacuum cleaner that is certainly better than this?
Try a Shark vacuum.
Q:Do you have one and what do you like about it. everyone talks about pet hair but what about just plain old dirt and dust. I live in arizona and its a nightmare I have to dust daily. also one that is also great on stairs too without killing my back. Thanks
