Q:I would like to start scraping my aluminum cansA friend of mine said that the price of aluminum fluctuatesI was wondering: -how do you keep track-how much can it fluctuate? Thanks.
There are many, many, many ways people may be separating their trashEvery community has it's own requirements of the items that will be picked up curbside, but many also have a drop-off site that will accept other itemsI currently separate these items: newspaper, paperboard (such as in packaging, empty toilet paper and paper towel tubes), cardboard, miscpaper (notebook paper, office paper, junk mail, magazines, etc.), any and all metal cans and lids, many other metal items, all plastic containers and many of their lids, other plastic lids (5, I think), all glass bottles, paperback books, hardcover books, plastic bags and styrofoamIn Michigan, there is a deposit on cans (pop, beer), so they are kept separate and returned to the store for a refundI also save the tabs off pop and beer cans for fundraising)I probably missed a lot of items, but these are the ones off the top of my headAlso, please note, contrary to the other answer, the items would be transported whether they are going to a dump or to be recycledMany communities earn money from selling the items to be recycled in addition to saving on dump costsThere are many issues to be weighed here, but I believe the experts have decided recycling offers the most advantages.
Q:how can I get my home cooler using tin foil?
I have seen some people tape sheets of aluminum foil over their windows to keep the sun from shining inThe idea is: the less sun in the house, the less the house can heat it upIt looks awfulI've only seen it done in trailer parksA good set of light-colored blinds can do a similar job, without the trashy look.
Q:these are the basic tapes i have in my house will any of these workMasking TapePackaging TapeAdhesive TapesAisle Marking TapeAluminum Foil TapeCable TiesDuct TapeVinyl Electrical TapeElectrical Insulating TapeFilament Strapping TapePolypropylene Strapping TapeSafety TapeStucco TapeThread Seal TapeDouble Coated TapeVinyl Foam Gasketing Tape

Q:one with sauce and cheeseperhaps some ground meat, and vegetables?
i remember doing thissome people used a pie tin and put things in it to resemble different thingsI used a loaf of bred and put things in itHair jell works good to fill things in to look like water or something.
Q:I use an aluminum pot to brew beer at homeI know a stainless steel pot is better, but right now the aluminum pot is all I haveOnce the beer is done boiling it has to be cooled very quicklyOne common method involves submerging a coil of copper tube into the pot and running water through the coil to remove the heatI know that copper and aluminum when in the presence of an electrolyte can cause galvanic corrosion to occur. If a stainless steel pot is used I do not see any issue, but since I am using an aluminum pot would I be worried about galvanic corrosion either damaging the pot or adding any extra quot;flavoringquot; to the beer in the form of metal being transferred from the pot to the coil? The coil is only in place for 10-15 minutes, I don't know if that is long enough to matter.Any thoughts??
I might suggest you see your own counselor It helps that you have some understanding of her past life but you need to learn to cope with the present
Q:At 300 degrees wrapped in foil how long do short ribs take to get tender?
On length 4mm needles you are able to often use DK yarn2 strands of Dk at the same time make a corpulent yarn that's thicker so which you would be able to frequently use an even bigger needle,a length 5mm could be reliablethe secret is it is your headscarf and in case you like your 2 strands at the same time knitted on 4mm needles it incredibly is greatyou have designed your very own unique headscarfproperly accomplished.
Q:how do i broil / or bake SOFT bacon in the oveni dont like it crispyThanx !:)
Here's How: 1Line a baking sheet with foilThis will make cleanup easier later 2Arrange bacon slices on the foil and place the baking sheet on the center rack of a cold ovenClose oven doorTurn oven on to 400°FWalk away 3Come back 17 to 20 minutes laterAs soon as the bacon is golden brown, but not excessively crisp, it's doneThe exact time will depend on the thickness of the bacon slices, and also on how quickly your oven reaches the target temperature 4Remove the pan from the ovenTransfer the bacon to another sheet pan lined with paper towels to absorb the fatYou can pour the liquid fat into a heat-resistant container to save for other usesI like to pour it through a strainer lined with cheesecloth to filter out any crunchy bitsTips: 1Don't pre-heat the oven! Make sure the oven is cold when you put the bacon in 2Keep your eye on the bacon during the final few minutes of cooking to make sure that it doesn't burnAlso, remove the cooked bacon from the hot pan right awayThe heat from the pan and the hot bacon fat will continue cooking the bacon 3You can slightly undercook the bacon, then cool it and freeze it in a zipper bagThen, to reheat, cook two slices in the microwave on medium power for 30 seconds or so 4Variation: Dredge bacon in flour or corn meal before baking 5Variation: Sprinkle bacon with brown sugar or freshly ground black pepper before bakingWhat You Need 1 lb package of bacon Oven Shallow baking sheet Aluminum foil and paper towels Heat-resistant container for collecting drippings

Q:This morning i woke up and was about to take a shower and no hot water and usually the hot water comes rather fast when i turn it onso how do i know if its my piolet light or if i need a how water heater
Open the panel at the bottom of the heaterIf it is lit, you will see itIf it is not lit, get some long matches or a long nosed barbecue literOn top of the control will be a knob that says Off Pilot and ONTurn it to the pilot positionWhen you do, the button to the left can be depressedNext look on the bottom of the controlOn the right side will be a small aluminum tube, on the left a thin copper linefollow those lines to the pilotWhile depressing the button on the top of the control put a lit match to the pilot next to the main burner and lite the pilotOnce lit, hold the button down for about 30 seconds and let it uppilot should stay litreplace the panels and turn to on positionIf this doesn't apply let me know and we will go from there
Q:Ive made smoked brisket in one of those large ceramic quot;green eggquot; smokers before at a friends house, but i just bought a new Weber yesterday and thats the closest i have to a smoker, and so i was wondering if anyone knew of any good ways to cook a brisket inderectly on a Charcoal grill.i was thinking maybe cooking it in an aluminum pan for maybe 6 hours and keep basting it for the first few hours or something, but i wasnt sure if that would work well or not since a weber gets much more hotter then an offset smoker.thanx in advance
just do it in the oven if you don't have a smokerthe direct heat of the charcoal will be too hotLay out some big wide Foil, drench the brisket in Worcestershire sauce, put the run on, wrap it up as tight as I canPlace it in a disposable or size enough broiling pan, into the fridge for 24 hours Set the oven to 225-250, ( I don't have a smoker), it cooks for 10-12 hoursnever touch it Pull it out, clip the corner off the foil, pour all those wonderful juices into a bowlSkim off the fat from the top and you have got the best drippin dipping sauce you can imagineI always have a container along side the meat, It's amazing! If you have canned gravy for taters and such, put 3-4 spoon fulls into it, wakes up pre made gravy like WOW!!! Of course you can make it from scratch and it's even better I buy as large a brisket that looks pretty good, generally around 14-15 lbs, end up trimming off 4 in fat before cooking.
