- Q:i am looking into the future and looking at what i need to buy for a horse *so i can save up enough*right now i'm looking at rugs and saddles.. i have been looking on the horseland website (sells all horse stuff for outside aussies)and i have noticed that some saddles range from $300 - $800 *could never afford one over $1000* ... there doesnt seem to be much difference between them both...
- Your link just goes to the main menu page so I didn't get to see which saddle you were asking about. Basically a good saddle, if looked after will probably outlast you ! Rugs can be complicated, I don't know what sort of weather you get but here in the UK my horses are out for most of the time ( they only come in a night in the worst part of winter and they don't like that much either !) I have full neck rugs for really nasty cold time and ones without necks for when it's just normal winter weather. They don't wear any rug during the summer as a rule but if it rains for long periods ( as it has this year) I put the lighter neckless rugs on them. If it got sweaty during riding in winter then towelling dry is a good idea and you can also get a cooler rug - this acts like a string vest and stops the horse getting chilled while he's cooling down. As your horse would be going straight back into the field it would be best to cool him down on the way back from your ride so he doesn't get home so sweaty. You can't just go throwing thick rugs on sweaty horses so you would need to walk him round in a cooler to get him dried off first. If this turned out to be a problem with you spending ages cooling him down you could get him clipped which would stop him getting soaked but then you would need a really good rug to make up for the lack of winter coat.

- I liked the rug you returned, but do not think the rug size is large enough for the room. You do need some colour...try some accent pillows in a deeper colour of the sage on your wall..you will have to be careful on the colours..autumn colours could work well, but keep the reds more of a salsa red...if your paint colour has a grey undertone, then many red shades will not work well with it, but you can go more for the blues and golds/yellows like a mediterranian colour. Curtains (floor length) are a great starting point .... something patterned in the colours you like...light and airy ones that can go over your blinds so you still have the blackout you desire from the blinds. Pick out colours from your curtains to use in the pillow covers and some coloured glass vases or accent pieces. Lamps or scones will add a lot to the room too.

- Put a brown paper bag over the dried candle wax and run an iron over it, this will require a few strokes. The wax should lift onto the paper bag

- Depends what type of carpet it is. Carpets that have fibers with a memory retention can be brought back with sweeping , or a wet heat. Some older carpets or ones with out memory retention can some times ( some times) be fluffed back up using other tricks. One trick to help avoid the marks , no matter what type of carpet is to move these pcs of furniture once a week , just a few inches and vacuum over the spot to pull them back up.. GL

- The stretcher is a key component. Without the stretcher you could end up with wrinkles in the carpet and the edges may pose a problem.
- Q:Our family just moved into an apartment with 4 year old carpet (the manager verified the installation date). We plan on moving in 4 years when my husband is done with medical school. Therefore, the carpet would be 8 years old. We would like to pay to replace the carpeting, but the manager is claiming that the carpeting we are looking at isn't quot;commercial gradequot; and that it won't last after we move. The manager also claims that the carpeting that is currently installed could potentially last another 4-8 years. The current rule here is that if you damage the carpet and it must be replaced within the first 7 years, you must pay x/7 of the value. My question is: If we trash our carpet and move out in 4 years, they won't be able to charge us. Why can't I just replace it now with carpeting that I like? Does this sound right? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
- One reason you can't replace is because it isn't yours..you are only renters and until you get permission there really isn't much you can do If the carpet is bad, I would take pictures with or video with the date on them on hold on to that until you move out and get your deposit. He can't make you pay for normal wear and tear on carpet.

- well if i made a stain on the carpet i would use vinegar and resolve carpet cleaner and a scrubber of course. so use this magic carpet cleaner this stuff really works. it depends on how much you stained the carpet. the amount of vinegar and resolve varies.

- I wash mine .... I just put it on hand wash and fold them in half.... and dry on low or air .... and continue to check on em until they are just about dry!
