Q:96 Beretta Z-26 water pump?
You probably have the 3.1 v-6, so the pump is not really hard to change, and is a belt driven pump.
Q:Solar powered water pump for sprinkler?
This project may be very poorly considered. Solar power is costly on a capital cost per watt basis. You would want to use that costly power to do things for you all year round, not just when your garden needs water. For any pumping role, your solar panels will not provide good starting ability, particularly when the sun comes up. You will need battery power to build up some charge to start the motor under pumping load. Your system then has to be designed not to try to start the pump when there is not enough charge. Late in the day, or when the sun wanes, you also need to have the pump stop running if the voltage drops too low. It just waits for the battery to regain charge, You will get more water delivered in drip mode than via sprinkler, and with less sunlight. Sprinklers will waste at least 30% of the water and 45% of the energy. If you use an inverter between battery and pump, you can use cheap ac pumping motors, but additionally you can use the power in your house. If your only application of power is pumping, and you are far from neighbours, you might want to consider using a wind turbine, as it will give more kwh per dollar. But in the village, and powering household uses, solar is a good alternative.
Q:LSvtec Oil and Water Pump Question?
you need the GSR/Type-R water pump. This is one of the major causes of LS/VTEC failure. The GSR/Type-R has 22 teeth while the LS/GS has 19 teeth. The extra teeth cause it to spin faster pushing more water through the system. Any time you change something related that uses the timing belt, I ALWAYS install a new timing belt, and tensioner. That way there are no worries later.
Q:Does the water pump effect the car AC?
You must know water pump is for cooling your motor ,by moving water around inside , AC has a pump or a compressor , Inside is a gas , under pressure the gas get cold when the cold lines are put in a space with a fan it makes cool air for you inside your car!!! All you may need is some more cooling gas for your AC pump
Q:what kind of water pump will I need?
What you want is called a sump pump. Most have a system built into them that is triggered by rising water. The idea is to have a hole beneath that allows the inevitable water that will collect a place to go, then when a certain amount gets in the hole, the sump pump comes on and pumps it out to wherever you have the hose or pipes ran to. Being underground, good luck keeping the humidity level down. It won't be easy, and much depends on where your natural water table is, and what it is during rains. Someone in your area might know all that, I don't.
Q:Water pump seized in my car..... what could it seizing cause?
Water pumps are items that sometimes wear out. It usually gives an indication before it fails, such as leaking water (coolant), or making a squealing noise (this is the water pump destroying the drive belt). Siezed water pumps lead to overheating, as you experienced, overheating can cause warped heads and/or headgasket pailure, both expensive to fix. Water pumps aren't horribly expensive to fix, usually. Be sure to replace the belt also.
Q:How do you check water pump on 98 deville haveing overhea?
You can't really check the water pump except that with the belt off, you wiggle it to look for play in the bearing. When the bearing gets loose, it causes seal failure and massive coolant loss. But after 100k miles it is time to do the pump anyway. Not that hard or expensive. Do the thermostat as well, just in case. But if no coolant loss, then overheating is probably from something else, like bad plug wire, intake manifold leak, plugged catalytic converter, retarded ignition, head gasket, etc. If the radiator was not clear, then the electric fan would go on often. Not likely radiator. Depends also on when heats up. If city driving, then likely to be fan or switch. If highway driving, then plugged convertor more likely. Put cooling system pressure tester on radiator cap. Check for leaks under higher than normal pressure. See if holds pressure. Then start engine and see if cylinder leak causes oscillation.
Q:How do I calculate water volume pumped?
You have already stated the volume as 8 gpm. There is an elevation head of 170 ft, a friction loss of 1 1/2 ft/100 ft at 8 gpm for and additional 30 ft. of head, You did not state what the service pressure was supposed to be at the delivery point. so the total head required of the pump will be 200 ft. or more if a pressure is desired. Add 2 1/3 ft of head for each psig of desired pressure. Because of hydrodynamic design limitations of the pump impellers, you will never find a centrifugal water pump for sale with that low volume combined with that high head. You will need a positive displacement water pump having an approximately 8 -10 gpm capacity at 200 ft head (87 psi) or more, depending on that pressure. You cannot lift water farther up than about 25 feet with any kind of pump because of the thermodynamic properties of water under negative suction pressure. Deep well pumps are lowered down into the well and submerged. The well may have been drilled 170 feet deep, but the water will probably have risen up into the casing. The actual depth of water may be much less than 170 ft. That will need to be measured You will need 3/4 horsepower as is and 1 hp with 20 psig of pressure at the delivery point.
Q:2004 Chevy Trailblazer water pump?
Takes a special tool, you can pick one up at Autozone or Checkers for under 50 bucks, or just pull the water pump with the fan still attached and take it in for them to replace it for a small fee when you buy the water pump.
Q:What does the lift of a pump mean?
Simply from the local to the pumping pumping height calculation of rice
