Q: Under the living room coffee table, carpet or not?
The function of tea table, lower berth carpet:The so-called "tea table carpet", is placed on the tea table, desk under the carpet. The purpose is to protect the floor. Of course, the carpet is far more effective than protecting the floor.
Q: appropriately enuff my mom gave me an area rug and she smokes, so does everyone else around her, we don't smoke at my house...febreeze only makes a quot;freshquot; smokey sicko nasty smell.
Attach it to your car antenna and drive to Kentucky.
Q: We are going to be purchasing carpet from Lowe's, its a stain master carpet, and Im not sure what type of pad to buy.. does it really matter??
This Site Might Help You. RE: what carpet pad is best to buy? We are going to be purchasing carpet from Lowe's, its a stain master carpet, and Im not sure what type of pad to buy.. does it really matter?
Q: hi guys. so i have a brand new rug i put in the living room. but sadly.. i think it must be the new thread smell.. or the smell of what it was wrapped in.. because it smells quite stale.. and is giving me a headache. this is my first apartment. and i dont have experience cleaning rugs.. can someone explain a good way to get rid of the smell.. astringents to buy.. or something to kind of wash the rug without staining or ruining it.. i can do it by hand.. i just dont know the correct approach.ps. i have a rite aid next door. so if i should get something there to clean it.. please let me know!also, whats a good cleaner to buy for a toilet bowl? i need some good advice thank u!
Is this the same rug I just answered about? I didn't know it was brand new! I assumed it was just old and funky. Try Carpet Fresh or any sprinkley carpet freshener. If it is really giving you a headache it is most likely just new fiber smell. Kinda like new car smell but different materials. In which case it will fade soon enough. but if it is really making your head hurt, take it outside and lay it out in the sun for a day or two. The ultra violet rays should cook off that new fiber smell a bit.
Q: Carpet has rich patterns, gorgeous colors and diversified shapes, which can beautify your decorative environment and reflect your personality. According to the usage, carpets are divided into commercial carpets and artistic carpets.
a) Tufted carpet The carpet belongs to a major category of mechanically manufactured carpets. It is not interwoven with longitude and latitude, but is made by inserting pile yarn into the carpet base cloth through steel needle, and then holding the city head through glue in the subsequent process. As the carpet has high production efficiency, it is the first choice for hotel decoration. b) Woven Wilton carpet The carpet is woven with warp, weft and pile yarn, and then finished by subsequent processes such as gluing and shearing. Because the carpet technology comes from Wilton area of England, it is called Wilton carpet. This loom is a double-layer fabric, so the production efficiency is relatively fast. c) Woven Axminster carpet The carpet is also woven by warp, weft and pile yarn, and then finished by subsequent processes such as gluing and shearing. The process used for the carpet comes from akeminster, England. This loom is a single-layer fabric with low machine speed. The carpet weaving efficiency is very low, and its efficiency is only 30% of that of Wilton loom.
Q: My kids were not supposed to have drinks in the living room but of course they did and one of them spilled orange soda on my brand new 300$ rug. And of course being kids instead of coming and telling me right away they tried to clean it up with water and then hid it and I did not find it until this morning. So I have soaked it in this carpet spray cleaner and cleaned it with my bissel cleaner 3 times and it still remains! Please help me. Tell me what will remove this terrible stain!
you can try use undiluted vinegar or a solution of water and vinegar. It is important to test a small area for color fastness.
Q: Living room is15 squares, what size of the carpet is appropriate?
1.33*1.9 or 1.6*2.3 is all right.
Q: Silly Putty dried on my carpet! How do I get it off???
Step 1: Scrape any excess Silly Putty off the carpet with a butter knife or spatula. Step 2: Spray WD 40 onto rag and gently work it into the spot with remaining Silly Putty. Step 3: Allow it to stand for 20 minutes. Step 4: Gently blot up the area, removing as much of the WD 40 as possible. Step 5: Apply small amount of alcohol to a clean corner of the rag and gently blot any remaining WD 40. If needed, follow up with a small amount of mild soap and warm water. Blot dry with clean, dry paper towel or rag. Step 6: If the stain is particularly stubborn, repeat above steps and gently use a toothbrush to get any remaining particles out.
Q: hoover isnt taking any dust as its so thick, neither is brush. the dust when i shake 8t is unbelieveable but how am i supposed 2 clean it? it needs 2 b freshened up. x
placed on a dirt mask or handkerchief over your nostril and cling it over a clothesline and whack it with a bat or a stick -- or if that's sufficiently small, whack it against the trunk of a tree. (that's what I do for my vehicle mats until now I supply up and wash them. staring on the dimensions: Take it to a laundromat with a super washer or to the dry cleansing company which will do rugs. Your's is probable very small yet my Grandpa had a room-sized white shaggy rug in his lounge which grew to become gray, it grew to become into so grimy. He had it taken to a rug cleansing company and that they quoted the cost. Later Grandpa advised us that the rug grew to become into so grimy, they had to place it with the aid of assorted wash cycles until now the rug grew to become into sparkling. So he quite ended up paying much less for the activity than it value the cleaners to do the activity. possibly you may purchase yet another rug with shorter pile or one which is rather cleanable?
Q: Also... what would be cheaper? Carpet, carpet tile, or laminate?I ask because these stupid companies (Lowes, Home Depot, etc) keep making it seem like there's a difference between carpet and carpet tile and it seems like carpet tile is cheaper. Why would it be cheaper? It actually seems like it would cost less than laminate but I have absolutely no idea why or what to look for.I'm looking for new flooring for my living room.
carpet tiles are awesome...and so easy to install--you just lay them down! they have rubber backing so they stay in place also...you can get different colors and alternate your look, and change it up whenever you feel like it---or if you happen to spill something you can just replace that tile rather than get all new carpet. depending on the price, you can get real high quality (fluffy) carpet tiles. I'd go with the tiles
