FAQ of Cast Steel Check Valve:

Q1:I can’t find the type of steel check valve which I need. what can I do?

The chart above only lists out some common composition of steel check valve parts. We may provide other different parts material composition according to the customer's request or the actual valve working condition.

Q2:Which certification do your products pass?

  Our products are in accordance with ISO 9001ISO 14001API 6AAPI 6DTS CEAPI607/6FA/BS6755.

Q: Ive been tolding one or more of my valves is/are knocking, how can I fix this. Detail would be great, this is for a F0RD 460, from a 90. I was wondering if I can just buy some used heads(not sure if this comes with these things called valves, haha)but I can pick up some 460 heads, for pretty cheap.. on those and do a full swap, since mine is from 90 i dont know if year would matter. So how can I fix knocking valves., thanks
valves dont knock they tap and generally all you have to do is adjust the valve lash, but you may need new valve springs if those heads have alot of miles or were abused.
Q: how could you make a valve or a system so that when it is pressurized, if enough pressure is reached in the system the valve will open completely and remain opened until it is close manually?I'm thinking about this in the context of an air powered dart gun, so that the firing mechanism is like a piston, and when a certain air pressure is reached, the valve that connects to the barrel will open and fire the dart
One thing you can do is get a pressure switch and a solenoid valve so that when whatever you are pressurizing comes to a certain level the switch will close it's normally open contacts and energize the solenoid which will open the valve. However as soon as the pressure level goes below the trigger level the valve will automatically close.
Q: I am 16, and i have a leaky heart valve. What makes it worse so i can try to prevent from it getting worse? please help.
It would be very helpful to know which valve is involved. At your age a bicuspid aortic valve would be the most common congenital heart lesion. Regurgitation tends to increase over time no matter what is done. There is nothing that you will be able to do to prevent this from getting worse if that is the nature of the valvular abnormality. If you provide me with additional information I may be able to offer a more thorough and thoughtful response. I wish you the very best of health and in all things may God bless. JR
Q: I am buying a 2004 Ford Taurus tomorrow and want to know the difference between a 24 valve V-6, and 12 valve V-6...Now besides the obvious difference in the # of valves...Is one better then the other???
The 24 valve is a dual cam engine and has more power than the 12 valve engine. The 12 valve engine is a very reliable engine and is by far the most common engine in the Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable line. The 24 valve engine is the Duratec engine, I believe, and would be considered the 'performance' model. As far as fuel efficiency goes you probably wouldn't notice a big difference on the highway.
Q: Does anybody know what the valve lash specs are on a 1986 chevy sprint 1.0L carbureted?
if you cant see clearly, just right click it and choose save as so you can enlarge it. this will be important. now... Rear of vehicle side = Intake valves Font of vehicle = exhaust valves Rotate crankshaft clockwise and align the timing notch on the pu;;ey to 0 on the timing tab. Remove the distributor cap and ensure the rotor is at 3 oclock This position indicates the is at compression stroke. TDC #1 cylinder. Using feeler gauge between rocker and valve syem, check intake and exhaust valve clearance on cylinder #1. After adjustment tighten the locknut to 11 to 13 ft pounds torque.
Q: for a big block chevy, best way to adjust valves and rockers
w/ one hand spinning the pushrod and the other tightening the rocker arm nut, tighten the nut until you can not spin the pushrod freely, then tighten it three quarters of a turn more. do this to all of the rocker arms that do not have pressure against the valves, then spin the motor 180 degrees, or until the rest do not have pressure against them, and do the same thing.
Q: I have a suzuki bandit 1200 (2001) and I think it needs a valve adjustment. The engine is tapping at idle and while riding but I cant stop riding long enough to get it fixed. All the shops I checked with are booked for a week. Will I make the engine worst by riding it like this?
I have an 83 gs and have cam end play at idle.If you dont push it hard it will be fine.I would rather hear the valves than not.Too tight and it will not idle and also be hard to start.Loose is better in this case.As long as it had the first valve adjument yo should be ok.Look at your manual or call the dealer to see what the valve clearance adjustment intervals are.
Q: I have recently been diagnosed with Endometriosis within the last 2 years. I have also had Mitral Valve Prolapse (MVP) for the past 10 years. ... Anyways... I was reading in a brochure for Endometrosis that there is a commonality between having those two diseases. If you know of the reasoning behind this I would be very interested in knowing. As I have yet to find an answer yet. I am just curious why having one will give you a larger likley hood to get the other. Thanks for your time and answers!
I have been dianosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse for about 20 years now but do not have endometriosis. However, I read people who don’t have a heart anomaly (leaky valve) but have all the symptoms associated with MVP are said to be suffering from mitral valve prolapse syndrome (MVPS). Most people with MVPS that don’t have anything wrong with their heart, are said to have an imbalanced autonomic nervous system or dysautonomia. The autonomic nervous system manages most of our bodily systems, including the cardiovascular system; gastrointestinal and bowel functions; temperature regulation; reproduction; and the metabolic and endocrine systems so people with MVPS have an increased incidence of endometriosis.
Q: i have a leaky tp valve on my hot water boiler. The valve is rated at 30 psi and 155,000 btu. I can't find one with that btu rating. will a higher rating work?
Don't go by the the old valve, look at the specification tag on the boiler. Do not exceed the temp or pressure rating. If you do, you will only create a time bomb and a big one at that. In no circumstances should you use a valve with a higher rating than the heater!
Q: I'm trying to estimate the amount of gas lost when a relief/blowoff valve is opened on a pipeline. If I know the valve opening size, pipe size, gas pressure, and the duration the valve is left open. Ex. A 12 inch pipe operating at 400 psi has a 4 inch relief valve that is open for 5 minutes. How much gas has been release? Assume constant flow of gas. Thanks in advance
Below is one of many sites with software for sizing relief valves. Each relief valve has a specific orifice size usually indicated by a letter such as A, B, C etc. With this and the other information on the gas being relieved you can calculate the rate the valve is relieving when it is open. Note: most of the time you will be in the critical flow range so once the valve is open the flow rate will be constant until the pressure falls and the valve reseats.
