FAQ of Cast Steel Check Valve:

Q1:I can’t find the type of steel check valve which I need. what can I do?

The chart above only lists out some common composition of steel check valve parts. We may provide other different parts material composition according to the customer's request or the actual valve working condition.

Q2:Which certification do your products pass?

  Our products are in accordance with ISO 9001ISO 14001API 6AAPI 6DTS CEAPI607/6FA/BS6755.

Q:the intake maniford tuning imt valve is stuck open how do i fix the problem
It's a valve in the intake manifold that controls airflow depending on RPM, for maximizing volumetric efficiency at both high and low RPM. Many design parameters of any engine are chosen to maximize either low end torque, or high end horsepower, or most often, some sort of compromise between the two. The IMT Valve helps make it possible to design an engine where both are better than if it didn't have one. Variable valve timing operates on much the same principle, except this applies to the air passages in the Intake Manifold. How you fix it would depend on why it's stuck open. But I wouldn't count on a cleaning being able to fix it. More likely some sort of physical or electrical problem. Either way, chances are you'll need a new one.
Q:does my 96 accord have an oriface valve or the other kind of valve? if so where is it? because im pretty sure that is the problem with my a/c not being cold at all
It uses an expansion valve inside the evaporator assembly, part 11 in the first source. If the evaporator valve is not working the compressor will be damaged - by no oil if the valve stays closed or by slugs of liquid spilling out of the evaporator if it sticks open. Fortunately, orifices and expansion valves are very reliable. I bet a standard A/C service (about $100) will get you cool again. If you do anything to disturb the refrigerant loop (trying to charge it at home, trying to change refrigerant system parts) you will only spend more... probably a lot more.
Q:I am modelling the production of phthalic annhydride and my process has a lot of FIC, LIC, PIC notations in circles on the connections. Moreover there are what i think are temprature and pressure notations in a square and a triangle. But most primarily what does a pneumatic valve do?
pneumatic valves use pressurized gas (Air, nitrogen) to operate.A simple example if you are monitoring the level of a vessel in a process the indicator for level (LI) tells you remotely what the level is. If you need to keep the level stable the level indicating controller (LIC) sends a signal to the regulator on the Pneumatic Valve which provides air to open or close the valve depending on what the vessel level set point is. the FIC (flow indicating controller) PIC (pressure) TIC (tempurature) are all instrumentation used to compare a set point parameter against a measured process variable and send a signal to control the valve to maintain the set point
Q:my valves got dirty long story how do you clean them
Remove the valves, wash them and the horn in warm (NOT hot) water with liquid dish soap. Dry with a clean towel, then oil and reassemble.
Q:Tryin to figure out how many valves a 1992 vx has. 16 or 8?
16 VALVES D15Z1 * VTEC-E * Found in: o 1992-1995 Honda Civic VX o 1992-1995 Honda Civic VEi (European Market) + Displacement : 1493 cm? + Bore and Stroke : 75 mm X 84.5 mm + Rod Length : 137 mm + Compression : 9.3:1 + Power : 92 hp (69 kW) 5600 rpm 97 ft·lbf 4800 rpm + Valvetrain : SOHC VTEC-E (4 valves per cylinder) + Piston Code : P07 + Fuel Control : OBD-1 MPFI
Q:My valve covers are leaking how do I take the intake off my v6 firebird?
I would recommend taking it to a shop if you have to take off a intake. There can be some major problems that can occur like water going into the oil and messing up your engine if you dont seal it right, i would hold responsible the person doing the work.
Q:In aircraft reciprocating engine, if valve spring surge happen?1. Why happen?2. Affect to engine?3. Result?4. Feeling?
Its in a car engine but the fault is near the same. The good news is that in aircraft there are mostly multi-spring valve springs to help prevent the resonance problem that can happen with a single spring. (If one goes resonant, the other one doesn't.) I think what that means is that if you have valve spring surges in an aircraft engine, you probably have a broken spring or weak on the assembly. (just a guess but if they don't go resonant at the same time then how would you get the surge?) The affect, not good. Result - rough at a certain RPM or range of RPM even temp. related Feeling - rough
Q:It started leaking slowly so I opened the release valve for about 20 secs than closed it back to see if that would help, but now it leaks even more. So I had to shut off the water that's coming into the water heater and know I can't use the hot water in my house. Can someone help me please!!!!
i find it better the telfon paste instead of the tape, use paste and not leaks, should find it in the plumming supplies
Q:Help! I've got this leaky CPVC valve in a new plumbing setup for a water heater. It only drips when open. :( It's going to be a real pain to replace it. Is there any way to tighten this thing up? It looks like there is a plastic pop off panel on the knob for the valve but I'm not sure. Thanks for any help!
Turn off the main water to your house. Turn that valve to open. Then tighen the nut on it (slightly), see if the valve will close , if yes; then tighten it a little more, then see if the valve will close. If yes - that should do it. If the nut is so tight that the valve will not close, then loosen the nut just a tad. That should do it, ......... now, turn the valve off. Turn back on the main water to your house -- and see if that works.
Q:i have a 1970 chevy sb 350 and i need to set the valve lash what is the proper method and where do i start? everything is stock!
Woah, woah! You didn't say exactly what 350 you have - do you have a hydraulic lifter cam in it or is it a solid lifter cam? You cannot preload a solid lifter, and doing that with the engine running ain't that good of an idea. You need to get into the ballpark of having the proper preload in the first place in order to even do the final adjustment with an engine running, anyway. Verify what kind of lifter you have before you proceed. For a newb and for a stock engine, you really can't go wrong with the method below - it includes video assistance to help with the visual. I've adjusted hydraulic lifters on a 305 the non-running way, and on a running like the previous post mentioned, for a 350 with a performance cam. Let me tell you, even with the clips, you will make a very big mess adjusting that engine running, plus you need to be painfully careful of doing something dumb, like putting your paws near the running belts - something I wouldn't expect a newbie to feel comfortable doing. Save risking your hands for when you set the timing!
