Q:Where to buy brown zebra rug online? I really like zebra design.Do you have any idea where to buy it.Expecting your valuable suggestions and opinons.
You can try OKorder
Q:Okay so for the past few years I've been making latch hook rugs. They take up too much space and I was wondering if there is a way to sell these? I don't really have people to sell them to, and I was wondering how one would go about getting rid of these projects while not throwing away all your cash. I am afraid to sell them on OKorder because someone might accidentally be deceived and think that it was an unfinished latch hook kit, and be surprised to find a completely finished rug at their doorstep. Any suggestions?
There okorder is another site where people sell completed handcrafts. If you have consignment shops in your area, they may be willing to sell the rugs for you. I have some that I've hung on the wall as art, and I have also used some as tops for chair cushions or throw pillows. Unfortunately, though, in general this is one of the class of craft projects where the unused kit often sells for more than the completed item. If selling doesn't work out, you may wish to restrict yourself to rug projects where you have a specific use or recipient in mind, or else put some of your energy into a less expensive craft like friendship bracelets, for instance. Good luck!
Q:Tattoo Ink out of carpet??How can I get Blue tattoo ink out of a green carpet and a grey carpet??
Use hairspray but the kind in an aresol can and dab don't rub, keep using fresh paper towel, I've gotten pen and grease out of coats, carpet etc with it but the trick it to dab and keep using fresh paper towel. Also when you get to just a bit left scrub it with TSP Tri Sodium Phosphate worked for me with chinese red candle spill on my beige carpet, it was aa wool carpet worked really well, with candle paper towel and an iron, ink just paper towel and aresol hairspray. Good luck.
Q:I have an ugly pink-tan carpet that has to go. Underneath the carpet is wood. But the wood is a bit rough and doesn't have any color to it. How do i remove my carpet and fix up the wood floor underneath?
The carpet need to be pulled as you said. Start at a corner with a pair of pliers to get a grip and pull back. If the room is of any size, I pull back along one wall and use a utility knife and cut through the backing rather than through the top. I cut in strips from 4/8 foot wide depending how long the room is. Roll up with carpet side out for easier handling, I use duct tape or strong twine to tie the roll. Then remove the pad and tack strip. A floor scraper will remove the stapes. If there is hard wood under it, call a flooring guy/gal to refinish it. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. Q:I am planning to rent Rug Doctor Pro from home depot. It says its a carpet cleaner. Someone told it's not steam cleaning. Whats the difference ? Should I just go with the carpet cleaning ?
the person-friendly for one room is approximately $60 for a expert. in case you're cleansing your carpet for allergies you are going to be able to desire to bathe under the mattress. The allergies come from dirt mites. in case you do it your self, use the very maximum well-liked water and a million/2 of the cleansing soap they advise. enable the nice and snug water do dissimilar the artwork. do not over soak the carpet, enable the vacuum component of the purifier do dissimilar the artwork.
Q:I recently moved and in my old place I noticed that my rug stained the linoleum. Now that I have moved, I really want to take care of my new place and was wondering if there is any way to prevent this staining?
There are a few types out there ,but the one I m familar with is calles Rug Hold.. It s a thin rubberymat you put under your rugs to hold them down and wont react w/ your vinyl like the backing is know to your vinyl.. Ashphalt drives are a big problem (tracking in the oils) because the petroleum based products react w/ each other and causes the yellow stains you see.. Check any product like this and get the 1 for your needs.. They make them for wood and carpet etc The nice thing is they can be tossed in washer when they do lose tackeyness and be renewedGL
Q:My cat doesn't understand what can she do with a scratcher--a cardboard thingy we got at a pet store, she pushes it away and goes directly to the rug. What should I give her to keep her off the rug? I tried putting a wooden board for her, but she didn't scratch that either.
A good way to prevent your cat from attacking you rug, is by putting some square pieces of carpet along the sides of some door frames in your home. It gives the cat more of a variety, rather than always having to scratch the same scratching post. You can also give them some toys, such as fluffy fake mice. this will keep them distracted, and hopefully draw them away from the rug. If none of this works, then try feeding your cat close to the scratching post. When he has finished eating, he will want to relax, and to start relaxing, he needs a good stretch, which is when the scratching post comes in handy to him. Cat's don't use their scratching posts as something just to scratch.. they use the to stretch the muscles in their legs and paws. your cat may take his naps in the room that the rug is located.. ? If he does, then it's best if you find another place for him to sleep, that way he doesn't have to stretch himself using the rug. If this still doesn't work, then cat nip may just do the job. I don't believe that cat nip is the best idea, as it can cause your cat to be a lot more energetic, but if it helps keep him away from the rug, then it may just be worth it. hope this helped, and good luck :D
Q:I'm in a 5 piece band playing in about a 20x20 room. 2 walls aren't covered with boxes and the floor is linoleum. It's really loud in there and we need to dampen the room to a bearable level. We were thinking about getting 3 or 4 rugs for said 2 walls and floor. But then we started considering acoustic foam. I'm sure acoustic foam is more effective than rugs, but since we're on a really tight budget, is it really worth it to spend twice as much on foam? Or will rugs suffice? Side question, if we get rugs, could we just get 2 and put them on the floor since i'm certain the linoleum is the main culprit, or do the walls probably need it to?
QUOTE: It's really loud in there and we need to dampen the room to a bearable level. Not to state the obvious, but the cheapest solution is to turn down. Look up the word dynamics in respect to music. Covering the walls with rug foam will help control echos and noise bouncing around....but loud is still loud. Also, if you ARE going to play that loud, please consider ear protection. I can tell you from personal experience that hearing loss is real. It's a weird feeling when you take a hearing test and you watch the doctor cranking the knobs up and you still can't hear anything.
Q:I have dried set in pet stains on my carpet (old and new) does any one know of any over the counter carpet cleaners i can get that does not have to be rubbed or scrubbed in? looking for something I can spray on let dry then vac I am unable to get down and scrub and rub
You really can't afford to replace the carpet or put in a new easy-to-clean flooring like wood? Don't you want to start out life in your new home with a clean, new flooring that nobody but you touched? Could you at least do some research and price some of the options to see what you can afford? Your word ruined tells me that this is not just a minor spot here and there. There may also be old stains that you can't even see. Doesn't it turn you off just a wee bit to think of living on carpet saturated with excrement? If you really can't or won't replace the carpeting, you will still have to spend some money by calling in a good, reliable professional carpet cleaner. Believe me, just shpritzing a stain remover here and there will not do the trick.
Q:It's about the size of the cotton part of a q-tip/cotton swab... It's just a regular shiny black color, but then again this is the first time I've seen something like this. I found it crawling on the carpet, so I ran across the room to get something to kill it with. By the time I was back, I saw it digging into my carpet! I was astonished, and disgusted, so I got my vacuum cleaner, and went over the entire room it was in. A little later I saw it again! What is this, are there more beetles, and WHAT DO I DO?!
