i have a 1990 honda accord, 2.2l 5 spd standard, and my water pump went on it, and i was wonder if there is a diagram out there somere on how to replace it or how to take it out, cuz it is in the most stupidest spot ever, if you know were i could find a diagram on how to do so could you please help me?
the best place to find the image that you are looking for is in a repair manual for that car. i know that it is in a bad place, but it cab be a little easier if you go by the book.
I think my water pump has crapped out on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee. I have been leaking coolant for a few days now and there is a puddle under my Jeep after I turn it off and my reserve tank keeps emptying out on me. I replaced the lower radiator hose and still the same problem. It is not over heating so I am wondering if it IS a water pump problem? If it is, could I do the work myself?
Remove the timming belt.? no!! Its really an easy fix. You will have to remove you fan belts and the fan itself. Then walla! The next bolts to remove are the water pump bolts, once that is done, put in your NEW pump. Its really easy. I have fixed mine (in many diffrent cars) many times. A lot cheaper than going to a shop.

You check the water pump by looking at it! Underneath the input shaft of the water-pump is a small weep-hole that leaks coolant if the bearings and seals are shot. If there's no leak in that location absolutely nothing is wrong with the water-pump regardless what you read above. Change the thermostat with a factory OEM unit. Remove the radiator cap when the motor is cold. If the radiator return valve on the bottom is brown and dirty the entire cooling system should be drained, flushed and cleaned. The heater core and radiator cross fins are probably plugged full because of years of not changing the coolant. Is the electric fan working? When the motor starts to overheat, wrap a gloved hand around the top radiator hose. If it's barely warm the thermostat is sticking closed. If it's hot the radiator and entire cooling system needs to be cleaned with Prestone Super Radiator Cleaner.
Water pump quot;leakingbut not dripping anything. how important?my 04 tacoma has a quot;leaking water pumpquot;. I just see some pink fluid around the seals, nothing is dripping. toyota dealer didnt make a big deal about it, just said i should get it done soon. heck they didnt even tell me, i just saw it on the receipt.other mechanics said the same thing. quot;whenever u want to do it we'll do it.is it not an hugely important mechanism or what? how long can i go without doing it? the first symptom would be the engine getting a little hotter? its been like that for 5-6 months.
Water okorder / They are typically not very expensive, and many are easy to replace yourself. You will need to get it replaced sooner or later, so I would go ahead and do it now before it leaves you stranded or causes and accident.
Suppose the liquid temperature range for the water pump is -20 .. 90 °C. However it should be worked under liquid temperature upto 180 °C. For this, what has to to be done?
(edited) The physical size of the pumping arrangement was not described. I assume that the pump has all metallic components because of the high (194 F) 90degC design operating temperature. There may be some problem with an elastomeric bellows in a mechanical seal at the 180degC (356F) temperature. Other than that, there should be no problem with the temperatures as far as the pump is concerned. There may be a need for shaft cooling to protect the standard electric motor and possibly the flexible drive coupling arrangement. (edit) Depending on the physical size, rotating speed and drive arrangement, a special coupling set-up may be needed to accommodate any potentially wide swing in operating temperatures. From ambient to 180degC there will be about a 160C (288F) variation. The liquid will be either a salt or a glycol brine solution for freeze protection at the lower temperatures. (edit) That same concentration will provide some elevation of the boiling temperature and therefore a reduction of the pressure of the water solution needed to prevent boiling. ( 130 psig is the saturation pressure of plain water at that elevated temperature.) This can be found on the charts provided by the glycol suppliers for the various glycol and salt solution characteristics. To prevent cavitation you may need to pressurize the suction. If the proposed pressure of the system is already above the vapor pressure of the solution at that maximum temperature, you may already be OK. A motor with high temperature windings may be considered.
Is it accurate to say that it should begin at 2, not at 0?
It freezes at 0 degrees, and the pump runs and gets stuck.
Pump adapter joint net outside tube, what is the principle?
At once the room after the fire, the internal fire pool once water shortage, the water tank can be within the fire truck hit the water chamber through the pump adapter connected to the fire extinguishing effect.
how do i remove and replace the water pump on a 2003 ford focus with a 2.0 engine
I have a diesel one with a noisy water pump in the winter and in the summer it's quiet! Been like this for four years!
