- Put the baseboard on before the carpet is installed. When attaching it, take a scrap piece of baseboard and lay it flat on the floor underneath the piece you're attaching, to use as a guide. This will give you approximately a 3/8 space between the floor and the baseboard, giving the carpet layers room to tack and tuck.

Generally it can clean by citric acid or soap, alcohol can also be used. Ice cream stains: Wipe with gasoline. Wine stains: New stains can be washed with water. New stains can be washed with water. Old stains need to use ammonia adding borax aqueous solution to remove.

- i think you may be talking about a jewel toned rug. jewel tone colors are bright, deep, and saturated, jewel tones in red, blue, purple, green and yellow can add graphic punch to any room. go to the target website and search for jewel tone rugs. they have a pic of one. hope this helps!

- It's very easy. Start at a corner then pull on the carpet. You may need to remove the underlay after you remove the carpet. It's done the same way. Then remove the staples that they used to hold the under lay done. Remove the wooden strips that go around the out side of the floor that held the carpet down Go for it. Nothing ventured nothing gained. All the tools needed are a ,hammer,and a skew driver to get under the wooden strips and the staples.
- Q: My cat doesn't understand what can she do with a scratcher--a cardboard thingy we got at a pet store, she pushes it away and goes directly to the rug. What should I give her to keep her off the rug? I tried putting a wooden board for her, but she didn't scratch that either.
- sprinkle some cat nip on the scratching post, and that may help.
