Don't let my wife know I told you this. For many years I used Commercial carpet in my snake cages. I had several pieces cut to fit. WHen one got soiled I would just remove it and put in another one. When I got a stack of dirty ones I would wait until she wasn't home and throw them in the washer/dryer. They clean up like new and last for years. Been married 37 years and she has no clue!

i saw somewhere that you get to walk the carpet,didnt you check before entering whatever competition it was? you dont have to have a pass to be on the sides of a red carpet so you could be in luck walk down the carpet and if your old enough have a few drinks b4 you do lol.i wish i could tell u 100% but my gut tells me that u can walk it,ive seen ppl walking on the carpet who have nothing to do with the event in the past

I don't think you should get carpet. Your pets could leave stains and some messes for you to get out of the carpet. Stay with the hard wood flooring.
