You don't need a tune. unplug the battery for 30 minutes and the computer in your car will reset its self. The check engine light is prolly on because you didn't add O2 extensions after adding your O/R x-pipe. Go to your local auto parts store and they can read your check engine light for free. Im a fan of Auto Zone my self. Good Luck.

Realistically, your not going to notice a big change in power when changing the exhaust. You might get a few extra horse power, but nothing very noticeable, except for a better sound. You didn't give a year, make or model but on the high dollar side of it, Borla exhaust sound really good. Or on the lower dollar side, I would check out Corsa and Magnaflow. A lot of people suggest Flowmaster, but beware, they have a terrible drone when cruising down the road. If you want to get the most out of your exhaust system, I would also add headers and a high flow cat. You can here any one of these exhausts on youtube, just type in your trucks make and model followed by the make of exhaust and you should get multiple videos to watch and listen. Sounds Exhausting to me! High flow cat converter? Higher than stock converter exhaust flow. Cat back system Is a complete exhaust system behind the stock cat (legal) that will either be true dual two pipes front to back or single pipe. Y pipe is for single to dual or dual to single tube. X pipe smooths out the exhaust pulses by blending pulses from both sides. Test pipes are cat converter eliminators (Illegal) but some time necessary in order to make the 5 gas testing equipment work at the Dynometer shop to adjust the fuel and timing tables. Down Pipe generally is from the manifold to first connection or turbo outlet. Resonators is a tube/muffler to silence some undesirable noise. Mid pipe is in the middle? Q:I have a ‘91 2.3L Mustang LX and I want to get a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler and swap it out with my stock muffler. My question is, if I just swap out the mufflers and keep the rest of my exhaust system, will there be any big performance issues? Would getting a new exhaust system offer any big advantages or is just the muffler fine? Btw, I already checked to make sure that this muffler fits my car and it does.Thanks
Look man if u r looking for nice sound coming out of ur car then the muffler will do it cause it will just make the car roaring and that's it. But performance u gotta buy the full exhaust system cause by then the full exhaust pipe will b wider which will let more air coming through ur exhaust and ur engine and will burn more fuel and at the end u will gain abt 10 to 20 MAX HP Hope u got the full circle :)
Q:My gas dryer in my apt takes too long to dry and I wonder if an electric one would work better. Anything to avoid having to go through the wall exhaust vent I have now and apparently can‘t be unclogged fully
The exhaust vent shouldn't be clogged with anything whether you have an electric or a gas dryer. Both have to be vented outside, but especially a gas dryer MUST be vented through the wall in order that Carbon Monoxide doesn't leak into your home. You should have a lint trap on the dryer which needs to be cleaned out after EVERY use. If there's llint clogging the vent hose, the hose needs to be detached from either the wall or the dryer, and clean it out properly. Once you get that done, if your dryer still doesn't work better, then you may have to get a new dryer. BTW, all lint traps should be rinsed with water after cleaning off the lint. There is a residue left on the mesh that can ignite if it isn't cleaned properly. (gas or electric dryers).

muscle car. the tuner will ultimately be better through corners, but for a straight quarter, there's no replacement for displacement, which is why you don't see ricers in NHRA. actually if you ever watch pinks you'll also notice this phenomenon. equal value V-8 muscle also takes home the pinks of equal value ricers, almost 100% of the time. and the few times i've seen them do it, it's not even close.

It's pretty easy to tell. Look under the car. After market exhaust are not as flat on the pipes. Which is why people get exhaust systems. So they can breath better. And if its aftermarket it should have the word flowmaster or borla somewhere on the exhaust.
