If you want to be loud, and get noticed, you can remove the catalytic converter, and replace it with a test pipe, or hollow it out. If you do it yourself, it's free! That's probably the easiest way to do it. HOWEVER this will not improve performance. If you want performance AND sound, look around at exhaust cutouts, cat-back exhaust (Meaning from the catalytic converter, and back), and aftermarket headers. Exhaust is one of the easiest 'bolt on' mods you can do aside from an air intake A few notes though -Car enthusiasts will not be impressed, because they will know it's not performance -This is illegal, and you will not be able to pass emissions testing. However, some people pay off mechanics to pass the car, or put the cat back in when the test comes around. I don't recommend this. ;-) -You will be called a ricer, especially with an Integra -You will get more attention. From everyone. Police included -If you're 16, your parents probably won't like it -As I said, this is illegal, so you're going to have to do it yourself, have a friend do it, or go to a shady mechanic. Hypothetically of course, because I don't condone illegal behavior. Wink wink -Unless you get a real exhaust system, it could sound like a higher pitched sound, unlike the deep rumble you're probably looking for. Fit a full stainless steel free flow exhaust system accompanied by a induction kit. If you want to go the whole hog then polish and port the head and install a lumpy race cam.

A cat back exhaust is just that. It's the section of the exhaust that goes from behind the back end of the catalytic converter. The term cat back is used so to make it clear to the buyer that they are not getting a full exhaust from the manifold back. It is nothing to do with cat bypass pipes for which the cat back section would still be required. Cat back systems are typically described as performance cat back exhaust so there is no difference.

Q:Where the dual exhausts connect with the catalytic converter the bolts are sheared off. The holes on the exhaust frame are clear, but the broken bolts in the cat. converter must have been welded on. What‘s the cheapest way to get the exhaust system running? Straight pipe from exhaust to muffler? Used cat converter? Or how do I get the broken bolts out of the cat converter?

Straight through instead of the cat is best, although nobody will make that installation for you because it is illegal. A good muffler shop should be able to weld up the existing cat to the exhaust pipe.

Q:if i were to just get a new a muffler and exhaust tip rather than spending well over 500 dollars on a nismo exhaust system what would be the main differences seeing that i would get a flowmaster muffler and a borla cover whats the difference in comparison to the complete nismo exhaust system

go with the nismo exhaust. nismo is nissan aftermarket tuner. it properly performance and sound better.
