- It's okay. Everyone has their fears. I used to be EXTREMELY afraid of spiders (the big tarantula ones). My friend had a toy one and I literally jumped at a wall, trying to claw it down to escape (but I was only like 5 years old at the time). I eventually got used to spiders. It helps that I don't see them often and kill every single one I see. I don't like the sight of them and jump if one pops up, but I can look at a picture without being terrified. Try looking at a picture of one for awhile or maybe even learning about them. They're hardly dangerous. Getting rid of a fear isn't easy, and you may not get rid of it completely, but if you do see one, just try to remain in control and stay away until someone kills it.
