Q:I've wanted an industrial/scaffold piercing for ages! My mum is finally looking into letting me have it done. Any advice about it? How can I hide it for school? Q:I've had my scaffolding piercing for about a week now and when cleaning i've just dabbed the hydrogen peroxide and salt water around my ear. However i read that i should be rotating it when cleaning it. Should i rotate it after only a week?: Do what the piercer told you to do. If they didn't say and you are concerned, ring them and ask. Personally I would say don't; the fluid that the piercing naturally leaks while healing can cake on the bar and dry into tiny but alarmingly sharp lumps. If you push these into the piercing accidentally while turning it it will really really hurt! They can also damage the newly forming tissue, delaying healing and possibly creating excess scar tissue. The bar will move naturally with the movements of your body anyway within the constraints of (sorry if you're squeamish but I can't put it any more delicately) any crusting around the bar. Just keep it clean and keep hair and face products away from it and it should be great.

Q:Im 18 years old and maleI have 4 piercings. On my left I have my lobe and a double helix (a type of cartilage piercing). On my right I have a scaffold/industrial. Q:I know it's soon, but my piercings swollen and quite sore when knocked slightly.I've only had it three or four days, but there's a swollen round lump right next to one pierced hole and I was worried it could be an early sign of a keloid. It can mean asking appropriate questions to help extend a child's thought process, or providing suitable activities to help a child learn through hands-on activities. Look it up in your textbook and read the definition and apply it to my explanation above for a deeper understanding, and don't be afraid to ask your instructor questions like this! That's what s/he is there for!

Q:Cells from an animal's muscles are processed with chemicals and they grow. The cells are transferred to a metal scaffold and are stimulated physically. In a few months, you have a big block of meat which can be ground and cooked. What do you have to add? Does this innovation mean the price of meat will become a very minor expense?: Sounds weird. When eaten I wonder how this experiment would affect the human body. It just might turn normal people into Liberals. If that's the case then I don't want anything to do with it.

Q:I would like a scaffold piercing, but my parents aren't going to let me have two cartilage piercings at once. So, can they be done separately, as in weeks apart?: Technically yes but it is better to have them done at the same time so the holes are aligned properly. It is better to get them done at the same time, as the second piercing will be less painful because you are all adrenalin-ed up! Probably cheaper too.
