Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :
The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall. The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.

- Q: Which method should be used for axial fixing of needle roller bearing in stamping outer ring?
- General stamping ring needle roller bearings are the outer diameter and the hole is fit to the location, so for stamping ring bearings have a pressing force of the technical requirements. Here I put it in the production process: stamping, heat treatment (about carburizing layer to control, otherwise the last edge will open - Cases) left - lips - cast oxide annealing oxidation layer, the holder on the needle sleeve ring, stamping edge (technical requirements: the rolling head edge within the height, diameter, (note that both ends and in the middle to be consistent) and pressed into the ring after the gage qualified).
- Q: I have been told that the lower the rating the better and vice versa. I've finally had the brilliant idea to ask the question on the almost all knowing internet. Your advice would be appreciated and considered. thanks!
- its the higher the better
- Q: Is it possible to use rollerblading bearings in aggresive in-line skates?
- It's actually a lot different. Depending on what kind of skates you have (figure or hockey), Stopping is a bit harder for some people and it is a lot more slippery. At first, if you have figure skates, you will trip a lot on the toe picks. On Figure Skates you can turn and spin, unlike most roller blades.
- Q: After a wheel alignment my wheel bearings went bad, immediately.
- depending on how far out of alignment your vehicle was it can cause severe rotation problems for the bearings and when re-aligned the worn areas of the bearings are no longer in proper position and you feel and hear them making noise, vibrating and worst of all if you continue driving on them you can destroy the hub as well and have a much more expensive repair! Having your vehicle in alignment isn't just for the sake of your tires it involves all of the suspension of the vehicle.
- Q: i wannn know to see if its a good idea to try :)
- The gasoline will strip away the grease that lubes the bearings. It will make the bearings wear out faster if thats what you are wanting.
- Q: Can someone tell me what are the best type and brands of skateboard bearings.
- What size shoe are you? This can be a big factor in choosing the right board. I'm a (UK) size 12, and therefore my perfect board size is 8. I'd say 7.5 is ideal for beginners. It's all I used to skate, and eventually you will outgrow it as your tricks get higher and more technical. You will know when it's time for a 7.6 because you'll go throw a stage of snapping lots of 7.5s. They are great for flip tricks, and the basics so yeah. For risers, go Independent. They're perfect. For bearings I'd say Bones reds. Bearings have an 'Abec' rating- that is how fast they spin. Beginners should get no more than an Abec 3, which is what Bones reds are. Many kids seem to think the higher the Abec, the better they will skate. It's not the case. If you're unconfident, Abec 7s will cause you lots of injuries. I've had my Reds 2.5 years and they still zoom. From your truck list definately go for Destructo. Steer clear of Royal and Independent, they are very prone to Kingpin snaps. Other good choices are Venture and Thunder. Your first deck is something which really comes down to personal preference. Some people may recommend 'Flip'- I listened to someone who told me that and snapped mine the day I got it on a fakie heelflip. I thought it may have been a bad model, so had another Flip about a year later, and snapped it on a hardflip within a week. But hey, others have lasted them months. As a beginner, your first board should last you a while, so I'd say go for a Blind 9 lives deck. They have 9 pieces of ply wood instead of 7, and mine lasted so long that it was too small to skate. Hope that helped, and enjoy yourself!
- Q: Ok so my bearing shields recently got bent inwards and i researched it up online and it says that dirt and other stuff can get into the bearings easier and since im sort of a lazy guy i dont want to do the whole cleaning process so can skateshops clean bearings for you like with a dissolvent or something if you paid them a few bucks and also do you think that skateshops can also flatten out your bearing shields as well thanks if you answer
- Yes, they can/ should be able to do that there. Since you said in your other question that you have ceramic bearings, the cost of this cleaning/repair would be alot cheaper than new bearings. I would take it in and see how much they charge, what they suggest, and how confident they are that they can fix it. If they charge alot then just ride them till you notice a decrease in performance. Then take them in and get them cleaned. If they don't charge much and sound like they can easily straighten out the cover, then ya, go for it.
- Q: I'm looking into starting skateboarding, so I was looking at some other questions for beginner skateboarders. People who answered were saying things like you can get any type of trucks or bearings, etc. And I do not know what those are, call me a noob, but please tell me what these are so I can purchase my first skateboard. Thanks =)
- Trucks are the metal axles and plates that mount to the board. They come in different sizes depending on what type of riding you plan on doing- the longer the axle the less turning radius you'll have. Bearing are small discs that contain tiny metal ball (bearings) that allow you wheels to spin freely once they are mounted on the truck-there are 2 bearing rings for each wheel (inside outside) . These also come in all types and generally the more expensive the bearings the more spin/speed you'll get. Hardware merely refers to the bolts nuts that hold the trucks to the board. These also come in all sorts of lengths and brands, but really they are mostly all the same. and don't forget some of the most important gear for a noob will be protective gear, helmet pads etc. Have Fun !
- Q: So i took my bearings out of my skateboard to clean, and now i can't get them back in! I know that pounding it dents it, because i tried it before and i ruined my bearings. but its too hard to push them back in with my thumbs, i have the hard wheels. Somebody help me!
- put the wheels on the board with the bearings even if they arent all the way on the tighten the wheels on as tight as you can then the bearings should pop in place.
- Q: in a bmx bike and how can you know that it is sealed or unsealed?
- phosters answer is correct on how the bearings look different as far as performance goes sealed bearings spin a lot long and spin very smooth. sealed bearings require little maintenance and last a long time. unsealed bearings should be cleaned and re greased at least every couple of months.
