Q:Best way to clean a seagrass rug?
Sorry to tell yo uthat the stains are most likely permanent. Seagrass, by nature is a porous fiber. Hence the stains have penetrated the fibers in the rug, and have become inherent, just as a dye would. Your best chance would be to completely redye the rug. It may be cheaper however to buy another, and keep Puss N Boots in the other room.
Q:What carpet doesn't peel and can be machine washed?
1., reduce the height of cashmere height; if the pile height is unchanged, it will increase the cashmere weight. 2. increase the density of the carpet surface. 3., you can use chemical fiber or spinning yarn in blended yarn. The chemical fibers in blended yarns increase the overall strength of the yarn while the worsted yarns increase the overall strength of the yarn as well as increase the friction between the fibers. 4. use anti dropping hair protectant. (this way it affects the softness of the carpet.)
Q:Rug service deodorizers and protection plans?
I merely offered my daughter a corner shade from Barnes and Noble and have been given the two year prolonged guarantee and it covers each and every little thing..the only concern it does not conceal is that if someones steals it. I propose you flow to Barnes and Noble and get a protracted guarantee on it, i've got self assurance it ws $50 no longer undesirable in case you question me.
Q:math 245 problem, what dimensions should the rug have?
The Area of the room = 21 x 22 = 462 sq.m The Rug should leave uniform strip therefor from all sides equal length must be cut off... So let length to be cut from one side be = x/2 So the Rug's sides will be = (21-x) and (22-x) So the area of the Rug will be equal to = (21-x)(22-x) (=132sq.m) = 22x21 - 21x - 22x + x^2 = 132 = x^2 - 43x +43 - 132 = 0 = x^2 - 43x + 330 = 0 Now Middle term Splitting = x^2 - (33 + 10)x +330 = 0 = x^2 - 33x - 10x + 330 = 0 = x (x-33) - 10 (x-33) = 0 = (x-10) (x-33) = 0 Either x= 10 or x=33 x cannot be equal to 33 as the max value could be only 21... So the dimensions of the rug are.. L= 11 B=12.. Thankyou.. Have a nice Day.. :)
Q:Fixing carpet in the apartment?
I've had to repair construction damaged carpet in several houses - here's how I went at it. Go to a carpet store and ask for carpet tape - a wide version of duct tape. You should be able to get it as single sided or double sided tape. Take a piece of carpeting identical to the carpeting you have to replace, cut it large enough to replace the damaged section, and lay the new piece over the old. Keep in mind that the carpet has a grain or pattern to it, and in some types of carpet the direction of grain is quite pronounced - so make sure you match the direction of the grain to the original carpet. You may find it easiest to cut the carpeting patch from the back side, or use a knife with a blade designed to cut carpeting (see the carpet store again). As best you can, brush the shag pile on the existing carpet away from the line where you intend to cut it - it'll make cutting easier and the pile will hide the patch when the pile is brushed back into place. Hold the patch in place while you cut through damaged carpet, using the patch as a template. If you're uncertain, make the hole in the original carpet a little small and trim the patch to fit. Once the patch fits the hole in the original carpet, use the tape to fasten the patch to the original carpet (and to the floor if two sided). Get the cat de-clawed. ;-) Good luck with it.
Q:Uh-Oh Bleached Carpet!?
cut out the damaged area have it replaced OR toss a throw rug over it.
Q:Best Carpet Cleaner?
Simple solution actually has a carpet cleaning shampoo that works pretty well, I think most of the carpet shampoos are about the same. I have found that using the stuff for stains first (like resolve) and then cleaning the carpet with the machine works better and gets the carpet cleaner. Also from time to time to clean my carpets with my machine I will add a little bleach with the carpet shampoo. It does help.
Q:What are some cheap alternatives to laying carpet? Explain carpet tiles?
Q:How much does carpet cost?
Basic carpet can be installed with a pad for around 3$ a s/f .(+-) It can be higher or lower with the quality of the carpet and pad. This based on you getting a 15' wide carpet (thus no seams) for 225 s/f. Thats 675 $ for carpet pad and labor. This generally won t include rip out of whats there now, floor prep ( if needed) , furniture moving and disposal. Remember this can vary with quality of pad and carpet. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
Q:will a rug doctor work on a futon?
Here are a few tips for futon cleaning—from your friends at Rug Doctor! The successful cleaning of the Futon depends on the filling within. If it is washable, you have a good chance of success. If subject to moisture damage, then do not attempt. Since the stain is over 3 days old, the urine will have gone from being highly acidic to very alkaline. This means the original dye could be affected and could be permanently damaged. Only cleaning will determine if the dye is OK or not. Further, the urine may have gone from being liquid to a sticky goo by now, and is likely a reddish orange. Treatment: 1. Fill the solution tank with a solution of 8 oz. of Rug Doctor Odor remover and 2 gallons of lukewarm water. 2. Connect the upholstery attachment to the Rug Doctor machine and switch on the upholstery setup. 3. Liberally spray the affected area with the solution, by squeezing the trigger on the UPH tool, holding the tool a few inches away from the stain. 4. When soaked, extract by pressing the recovery nozzle of the UPH attachment over the soaked area. This action will help extract the dissolved urine, while distributing the Odor Remover product within the Futon. 5. You may have to repeat 3 4 a few times till you notice the futon is visibly cleaner. Continue your last extraction until no droplets of water are visible through the UPH tool window. 6. Spray the surface with Urine Eliminator. This will help minimize stains. 7. Place clean white paper towels on the surface to absorb any wick up stains. Turn on a fan or circulate air. 8. Change paper towel if it gets too wet. 9. Examine upon drying. Chances are you have done a good job and the surface is clean! If stain remains repeat step 6-8.
