Pictures of Chenille Polyester Jacquard Carpet
- Q: I vacuum every day with a kirby sentria. I read somewhere that vacuuming daily can ruin your carpet, but I haven't had a problem (yet). Supposedly it'll wear out the carpet sooner? I use the correct settings for my carpet. We have a 3 year old, a dog, and 3 cats, the thought of vacuuming even every other day kind of sickens me when I think about how many crumbs and how much hair can build up in the carpet lol.Is it okay to vacuum daily? Not gonna have to replace the carpet every 3 years if I do it that way?
- It's not necessary to vacuum everyday. I don't think it's a problem if you DO vacuum everyday though. I vacuum once every week or two because I don't make huge messes that require vacuuming. Another thing you can do is vacuum a specific area. Like vaccum the rug your animals play on every 2 or 3 days just to keep it fresh. But as for bedrooms and hallways, it's not necessary to vacuum so much.
- Q: i need to find a website or store (in missouri) selling area rugs under $50 and about 13ft x 13ft in size.
- To be very honest with you, the only rug of that size you will find for under $50 will have to be second hand and likely not in great condition. I have never in my life heard of finding that size rug at that type of price. Good luck. If you do find one, please let me know where -- I would order from that supplier even if they are overseas and shipping doubles the cost!
- Q: I am planning to rent rug doctor to clean my apt.but afraid whether its so noisy
- My father has worked for Rug Doctor over 20 years, and therefore we own one. It's a little loud, but I don't think it is that much louder than any other vacuum. My brother borrowed it once to clean his, and he had no complaints from neighbors. It works pretty good too... and I am not just saying that because I am associated with the company either, lol.
- Q: I have two area rugs that need cleaned. They aren't stained, just a bit dingy looking from my lab laying on them. One is a jute type rug, 8x10, and the other is a mixed type blend 7x9, it does have some wool in it. I was just wondering if I could use my hand held steamer, I have a Shark Steamer, to clean these? Will it hurt them?If I do this, what should I use with it, just water or some kind of carpet cleaner, etc?
- Follow the instructions on the tag. Or if there are not any call the manufacture of the rug. They may be able to help you with the cleaning. In my experience, you can try and clean on your own it will be the cheapest way to do it. And if you ruin the rug, you can always buy a new one. The ones you have now are dingy and if you cant clean them you need to get new ones anyway. I recommend getting a cheap rug for the dog to lay on that way you can replace once he messes it up without it being a big expense on you.
- Q: Can carpet be laid in the kitchen?
- Meaning is it is best not to lay where there is most likely to cause a fire , the kitchen is generally a family source of fire, if you really want to decorate the kitchen, do not lay it for safety reasons
- Q: my carpets are very dirty.
- If the professional guarantees to get your carpets cleaned, it might be wroth it. It has been my experience, that they come in and go over the room once, and that's all you get. They do spot treat stains. We do it our selves, and we can keep going until the used water is not black, more of a khaki color. I know I have removed mos of the dirt when the water is just a little discolored and doesn't have actual dirt in it. Carpets are filthy, and collect everything that walks int he door. I also have a family member who uses a power wheel chair, and that thing isn't clean either. Mats at the door ill collect most of the dirt that comes in, but they are slippery for W/c's so I can't use them. :-( I use Bissell's carpet shampoo, as it has removed things that Rug Doctor shampoo missed, and I thought were permanent stains.
- Q: The pad is worn out under the carpet in traffic areas, but the carpet is fine.
- This Site Might Help You. RE: Can I replace carpet pad without replacing the carpet? The pad is worn out under the carpet in traffic areas, but the carpet is fine.
- Q: Hi everyone, I have a encolsed porch that i am redoing and the exsiting floor is wood and is painted so i just repainted it well i was thinking about painting a rug onto the floor just to add a little something different and special to the room. I am having a hard time finding any informatiot on it. I am looking for ideas for patterns (a little more torwards a country pattern) and ideas on how to do it what steps i should use and if anyone out there has ever done this you're input on it would be sooooo geatly appreciated!!! In a nutshell any hep at all would be appreciated!!! Thank you for you're time:)
- Pick your patterns from any source. I copied my kitchen plates because of their interesting pattern. Creating a rug is even easier: Measure out your rug and have fun filling it in with a pattern, then add tassels. Use stencils or have your kids make hand prints on the floor. Paint their names in their designated area. Experiment! If you're not happy with the result, swipe it with a wet rag while the paint is still wet, then redo. What to do (after preparation): 1. Roll on two coats of Kilz primer/stain blocker. Let dry between coats. 2. Roll on (or spray with a compressor) two coats of a medium- or high-priced latex flat paint in the color of your choice. 3. Create your patterns, rugs, etc. Let dry. 4. Wearing a respirator mask (you're going into chemical warfare!), roll on two coats of Breakthrough sealer with a 1/4 nap roller. Let dry
- Q: My boyfriend and I have a mini fridge in our bedroom. It was collecting ice really bad around the little freezer compartment and was so bad we could hardly open it so I unplugged it and asked him to carry it outside to drain. I went to work. He didn't do it. It was a hot day so most of the ice melted.. out the bottom of the fridge into the carpet. Thennnn he took it outside. We put lots of towels in the carpet and sprayed with carpet cleaner but now there is a horribblee mildew smell, and its still pretty wet. I can't stand it, its gross.. what do we do? Welll.. what do I do.
- After okorder This product is excellent...recommended by hospitals and veteranarians for getting rid of all kinds of strong, foul odors. Comes in spray or concentrate....not expensive either.
