- I'd leave a very slight gap to allow for any movement in the floor/walls. Tile will go over this anyway, and leave a slight gap between the tub and tile also. You are not going to grout between the tub and tile - use silicone caulk instead. If you grout it you will end up with a crack.

- Our sound insulation board 425 (cement board composite, thickness 13mm) and Zhiwei noise board 410 (gypsum board compound, thickness 18mm) compared to the noise board 425 sound insulation better! - Q:I am trying to anchor a woody climbing wall to a cinder block garage wall and have settled on anchoring boards into the cinder blocks then building from there. so anything anchored there would be sharing a load of me-200 lbs, the plywood base and frame - 50lbs. plus any force generated by my jumping around on it.
- Secure the wall to the floor of the garage with something like Simpson Concrete bolts - they work like Tap-Cons, but are larger and have a greater shear strength. To avoid having the garage wall, roof, and the climbing wall collapse on top of you (that's not even good avalanche practice), anchor the top to the top plate of the garage wall. It should be anchored into a bond-beam at the top of the wall with 1/2 diameter bolts. You could also hang the wall out a little further, and secure the top to several ceiling joists or roof rafters with framing anchors. Just do not attach the climbing surface directly to the block wall; either you will pull the anchors out, or push the wall over. Look at the Simpson-Strong Tie website for bolts and framing anchors. [You must have a pretty tall garage.]

- if he runs log books than he can drive 14 hours and he has to take 8 hr. break. my husband works with a company that has cement drivers. and once they get were they are going they could be stuck there for days. it all depends on the company also. the company can have him illegally run a few log books at once to. you can contact the labor board and they can tell you for sure.

- I used to charge 2.50$ a s/f to install board or prep an area. That would include the board , thin set and nails ( or screws)to do it properly. 4x8 cement board is hard to find and heavier the all HE!!, so hire a friend. 3x5 sheets are much easier to handle by yourself. - Q:Can i tile over plywood floor, without using cement board?
- I would recommend the the underlayment bord because it allows for expansion and don't crack your tiles or joints. You can tile over plywood or osb. But its bad to break tiles or joints
