- There are two reasons why we need carpets. The first is that when you have to pee really bad and can't make it to the bathroom, you can just pee on the floor and it will soak it up nice and tidily. The second reason is because carpets are warmer than wooden or cement floors and are softer on you toesies. I recommend carpets if you have arthritis. Also, carpets should be pink with black skulls on them. and maybe a blue turtle.

- I wash mine .... I just put it on hand wash and fold them in half.... and dry on low or air .... and continue to check on em until they are just about dry!

- I liked the rug you returned, but do not think the rug size is large enough for the room. You do need some colour...try some accent pillows in a deeper colour of the sage on your wall..you will have to be careful on the colours..autumn colours could work well, but keep the reds more of a salsa red...if your paint colour has a grey undertone, then many red shades will not work well with it, but you can go more for the blues and golds/yellows like a mediterranian colour. Curtains (floor length) are a great starting point .... something patterned in the colours you like...light and airy ones that can go over your blinds so you still have the blackout you desire from the blinds. Pick out colours from your curtains to use in the pillow covers and some coloured glass vases or accent pieces. Lamps or scones will add a lot to the room too.

- Uh oh now you've done it.... you made a clean spot. Go rent a commercial rinse and vac and go over the rest of the carpet. When you get it close to the same color... stop. Then RINSE the whole carpet with clear water. (you want to remove any soap.. which attracts dirt) Then set up some fans and let the room dry without being molested by traffic.
- Q: I love my cat, but she will not stop peeing on my den rug. We clean it with all the special cat cleaners to get rid of the smell and then we even tried covering the area with tin foil because cats are supposed to hate that -- she just peed around it -- in a place she had never peed before! - Ok i know this because i had a cat who peed every where. First don't buy spray that gets rid of the smell. Get spray that gets rid of the odor that cats can smell because thats why your cat pees on the rug . You could also try putting tin foil every where in that room. Try it. And deffitenly buy the spray.
