- I would buy some training spray. One brand is called Stay off training aid. You can buy it at pet stores. It is make for dogs and cats. You just spray it on the area you don't want your cat to scratch and the spray will repel your cat from that area. Thats what I did to train my cats to use their post.

- WHAT?? Are you sure that was a hair dryer and not a freekin' HEAT GUN? I've never heard of a hair dryer that was hot enough to melt the typical polymers used in carpeting. In any case, you tried to fix a problem and for some strange reason it didn't work - if I were the owner, I might be upset, but if you really used just a conventional hair dryer, and it indeed melted the carpet, I think I would be more upset with the carpet company. After all, you were trying to do the right thing. Now, if you're lucky, the homeowner will have some spare carpeting that they've saved away for exactly this kind of accident. An experienced carpet layer can surgically replace that using any one of two or three techniques. They can even do this if the homeowner doesn't have some spare carpeting, although that will add some additional cost, and the match may not be quite as good (depends on the color and style, which if the house is new, will hopefully still be available).

- My minimum rug for North England is: Heavy weight, full necked (or detachable neck) turnout Medium weight turnout Lightweight rainsheet (no fill) Bug rug (my mare has sweet itch) Cooler Light weight stable Medium weight stable full necked heavy weight stable standard neck heavy weight stable is good but not absoultly essential Waterproof exercise sheet if you intend to work the horse regardless of weather, if you don't have access to an indoor school. This is my minimum for my cob mare, clipped (ranging from a full clip to a trace depending on work load). She's stabled at night and out every day. I'll often have 3 stable rugs on at night in the winter and I'd say our minimum temps are similar to South East as I'm in a pretty sheltered area and low. You could get away without the medium weight turnout but you do then need to use a stable rug under your rain sheet as there are a few months where they need some padding but not the full heavy weight.
- Q: I have carpet in the living room, it's not a big room, average size. I have a BISSELL steam cleaner, the one with the bristles, and I can empty the tank 5 times and keep going over the room and it still comes up dirty (the water) Is this normal? - Clean the best you can.. You d be absolutely shocked at the amount of dirt is under the carpet and pad even in the cleanest of houses.. I ve pulled up many carpet and the home owners are appalled at the amount of dirt that is under there. GL

- that is effortless, nail polish remover. get the form with out lanolin, if u can, however any form will paintings. pour a few remover on an ancient rag, paintings in circles from the external inward. hold operating w/ contemporary remover until u get all of it, then use just a little diluted dishwashing liquid in scorching water and a scrub brush. recall the cleaning soap u r leaving within the carpet from the dishwashing liquid is similar to carpet shampoo, and can go away a place as a way to draw in just a little dust, if u do not get such a lot of it out. inform the carpet cleanser subsequent time u have it wiped clean, so he can extract that spot good, with blank water, or do it urself with a condo unit, like from wally global. recall, carpet is close to indestructable, so do not fear an excessive amount of
