Q:lcd computer monitor problem?
The first monitor has a problem with either the inverter not powering the backlights or the backlights themselves are bad. Hard to say which for sure. The second monitor, that turns off then on and repeats, sounds like an internal power supply issue, not the inverter or backlights. In either case, the cost to repair them is probably not worth it as it will probably be cheaper to buy another one than to repair them. Best of luck.
Q:how much power(%) can i save if i replace my CRT monitor with a same size LCD monitor?
NONE read the power watts used on the back of both monitors
Q:When buying an LCD monitor are there things to look for?
Something with a low Refresh Rate. They are usually like 5ms or lower. Lower would be better. I doubt you could tell the difference but if anything to look for that would be it.
Q:how long does a LCD monitor would last?
I've been using an LCD monitor for the past 4 years. Apart from a few minor problems (which were easy to repair) there have been no other issues. Sometimes you'll have to replace the backlight when the monitor goes dim. It's cheaper to just replace the backlight instead of replacing the whole monitor. You also need to check the quality of electrical supply in your house to make sure your monitor doesn't go bust. LCD monitors last anywhere from 6-10 years (or more) if maintained in a proper environment.
Q:Lcd's monitors?
no I think TFT has alot more to offer.TFT is definately High Def when you view you desktop and stuff. But you can't watch movies as the RAM has to be faster and the CPU usage capacity has to be higher.
Q:Do all 1920x1200 computer LCD monitors support 1080p?
you may in basic terms bypass seek for a television that's finished had that has a vga enter to connect your computing device to that way you comprehend its finished hd yet will artwork as a moniter and you could watch television on it too
Q:1. what are good LCD monitor companies. 2. TFT v.s TN displays.?
dell and viewsonic are the best!
Q:LCD does not display images
LCD refresh frequency generally support 60Hz, you set the refresh rate to 60Hz, try again, if not, then lower the resolution
Q:Which is the best LCD Monitor to buy in 17" or 19"?
A 4:3 (non-widescreen) LCD may be more useful for general internet browsing and word processing, since not many websites or word documents are laid out to fully utilize widescreens. Take Yahoo answers for example (there are lots of wasted space on the sides). If you want to use your screen for watching movies, a 19 widescreen offers for more luxurious viewing, albeit at a higher price (+20 or 30 dollars more). There are no real disadvantages between the 2, since your uses may vary, and you may not watch movies that much on your PC. However, a 19 undoubtedly offers better value than a 17 screen, when you take screen sizes vs price into account. The price gradient gradually curves upwards as you increase the size of LCD panels from 17 ~ 22 inches. 19 inches is considered the standard size today, and any sizes bigger than 19 shows a large jump in price. My advice is to just pay a little more and get the 19 over the 17.
Q:Why does the LCD look a little flash?
There may be a problem of lower hardware configurationYou can change the monitor to someone else's computer to see if there is any blinking or not. That might be the reasonMy display is also like this before, for a long time over load online games, the results of a flash on the phone, and later added a new memory to solve this problem
