6.Conditions of use
Pumps used in the following conditions should be continuously to work properly:
1. For water pumps suitable medium, medium temperature shall not exceed + 40°C
2. The medium PH value between 6.5 ~ 8.5
3. The volume of medium containing solid impurity is less than 0.1%, the size is not more than 0.2 mm
4. The power frequency 50 hz, voltage for single-phase 220 v, 380 v, three-phase voltage fluctuation range for rating of 0.9 to 1.1 times
5. Diving depth of no more than 5 m, is not suitable for irrigation and drainage of sewage and chemicals.

- Q: A guy i know changed the Water pump on my 02 Chrysler Sebring with a 2.7 in it because it was leaking coolant, when i got it back the leak was fixed but now there is a ticking noise. He thinks that the Timing Chain Tensioner needs to be replaced... can i get some opinions here? does he sound correct?
- Most mechanics won't even work on those 2.7 motors! The timing chain tensioners break all the time and after repairs the motor keeps coming back for more. I'd trade that POS before it doesn't run again!!!

- you didn't say what yr and model of car or truck..You can get a rebuilt water pump for about 30 to 50 dollars,according to make and model,thermostat about $8..now the kicker is getting someone to put it on..that is where the money comes in...so ,I say $60 tops... Its is easy to do,Do you have any friends or Family that knows anything about cars? If you do that is your best bet...I could have it in and out in 45 mins..Sorry..

- I think you may want to look at the small pond pumps and just about any nursery or home supply store or landscaping store. they may have the specs on hand, or see if they can demo one for you. some places have a display pond set up already. You also might try a small swimming pool pump and put a voltage regulator in the line and adjust the pump speed that way. maybe rig a sewing machine pedal in the line and use a C clamp for an adjuster. I love rigging thing. It may not work with a gfi plug.

- They always change the water pump and timing belt together while the engine is apart. Your 1999 is probably due for both things if they have not been done. I just had mine done on a Toyota Camry. It cost a thousand dollars. Remember that these two things NEED to be changed every so often..if either the water pump, or timing belt go while you are driving..your car will die right there on the freeway...even if you are going 80 MPH.
- Q: About 2 months ago I started hearing a noise coming from my bathroom that sounded like loud humming every 3 or 4 seconds after I would turn on the water or flush the toilet. - Do you have a pressure tank? if so you might need a new pressure tank. My well had a similar problem which required me to replace both the pump and pressure tank. check your tank first if you have one if not you will have to replace the pump unfortunately you are in a predicament on location of the pump this pump should be removed vertically and with a crawl space this will prove to be difficult. I hope this helps good luck on the situation. If doing yourself please note this is a 2-3 man job on pump replacement. Pumps generally run between 100-300$ make sure the pump you purchase meets ampage requirements of the existing pump.
