The rotation direction

Viewed from motor, the direction of the pump is anti-clockwise,that is the suction in the left, the discharge in the right.

The rotating direction of the type pump is clockwise, that is the suction in the right, the discharge in the left. 

Also can move the driver to another edge according to the user’s requires. Then, the rotating direction, the suction and discharge direction is in the opposite as the described above.

Plastic fins would not be ideal as it would spin constantly and come in contact with hot coolant for the duration your engine is on. I would buy a little aquarium filter pump to feed the steam system.You can regulate it with a little valve in the tubing and use any kind of tub as a reservoir for the water depending on the amount you need to create the steam.

I take it you live in the country. This happens to me all the time. My problem is caused by fire ants, I'm in tx. Those stupid things are attracted to the electricity for some reason and will swarm on the pressure switch and cause it to burn up or malfunction. Go look and see if you have any bugs on yours. If not, well then i dont know. Replace the switch and that will cure it. It is not hard, i have done it myself many times.

Again, see last answer to your same question. You obviously dont know what the real problem is, could be water pump and might not be. Instead of wasting over 25.00 on a water pump and that not being the problem, why dont you take it to a reputable repair facility and have the cooling system analyzed and they can tell you EXACTLY what part(s) need replacing, then go from there. Nobody can diagnose your cooling system problem over the internet since we are not at your vehicle with a coolant pressure tester and block test tool.
