Both inlet and outlet of this pump are placed under the axial line,so it is unnecessary to remove the inlet and outlet pipeline and motor;

The shaft seal of water pump has fine mechanical seal and soft stuffing seal,which can be selected according to different condition by user;

The impeller is static-balance calibrated,fixed on the shaft with round nut,and its axial position can be adjustedvia the round nut;

The pump is direct drived by motor via resilient coupling,it can be drived by internal combustion engine if it is necessary.

The rotation direction

Viewed from motor, the direction of the pump is anti-clockwise,that is the suction in the left, the discharge in the right.

The rotating direction of the type pump is clockwise, that is the suction in the right, the discharge in the left. 

Also can move the driver to another edge according to the user’s requires. Then, the rotating direction, the suction and discharge direction is in the opposite as the described above.

Q:Help...Need a replacement water pump for my BioCube?
ok before replacing have you cleaned the inside, and if there are air bubbles comming out it is because it is running dry. Basically all biocubes do this, the filter pad is slowing down the water too much, so either rince it well or replace it. Also i would wash out the blue sponge right before the pump as that can hold alot of dirt as well. Then if not add more water. But if you want to replace the pump, try via aqua water pumps. they tend to be the best. owner of the BC 29 and BC 14
Q:How long should a water pump last?
You didn't indicate from where the steam is originating. It could be from the radiator, radiator cap, coolant reservoir, cracked manifold, gaskets, hoses, etc, etc, etc, in which case, the water pump may have nothing to do with the problem (of course, a fault pump may CAUSE the problem, but, without more information, it's impossible to give you a specific answer). As far as how long water pumps last, it depends on the manufacture, whether it's new, used, or remanufactured, how much and how hard the vehicle is driven, etc etc etc. Generally speaking, a brand new water pump should last at least 10 years or 100,000 miles. Q:what kind of noise does a water pump make when it is going on a car?
There is no noise associated with a water pump going out that I am aware of other than the engine exploding due to excessive heat. The dash guages; especially the engine temp guage, will give you a clue as to a cooling problem, whcih is what the water pump is for. The water pump prevents the engine block from overheating. When the pump fails, the engine overheats and will either shut down, or the engine will burn out. The best way to tell is to monitor the temp guage. If the engine is running hot, it either the water pump, lack of water in the cooling system, or Thermostat failure. Best to have a mechanic check it out. Cheers!

water pump is driven by the serpentine belt. if your belt is slipping then it wont run your water pump, so you could try getting another belt for like 20 bucks at an auto store. the heater is run electrically. well more importantly by a 'blower motor'. it could even be the blower motor resistor, they are connected to the blower motor, and usually have green tape on them. most likely it is going to be the water pump from what you have described

drain radiator. remove both 21mm motor mount bolts from subframe (front and rear). drain radiator. remove overflow/washer bottle. remove drive belt. remove 8mm bolt that hold lower watertube to front cover. remove lower water tube from water pump. remove heater hoses from water pump. slightly lift engine with floor jack. remove water pump pully. remove water pump. if you still cant get it you will need to remove the 4 studs that go through the water pump. now its just that easy to do

When was the last time the system been drained flushed and *cleaned? A 14 year old radiator and heater core will be loaded with corrosion and rust. Prestone Super Radiator Cleaner can be used on mildly dirty cooling systems. *Follow the instructions on the back side of the Prestone Super Radiator Cleaner. The instructions are totally different than the quick, worthless rinse cleaners. GM makes a one part powered acid cleaner that works better on really dirty cooling systems. When in doubt change the AC-Delco thermostat with another one from a Chevrolet dealer. Flushing is easy when you splice-in a Prestone or Peak flushing T in the heater hose *return hose from the heater-core. Any trusted private mechanic or Chevrolet dealer can do a *cooling system pressure test to see if you have any external or internal coolant leaks. Never exceed a 50/50 mixture of DexCool antifreeze and distilled water. If someone has been mixing brand X antifreeze with the factory installed DexCool in your cooling system the coolant will turn to mud and plug-up the cooling tubes in the radiator core and mat the cooling passages in the engine. The secret of perfect heat-transfer in a cooling system is clean cooling passages, a new AC-Delco thermostat and radiator pressure cap. Remove and clean the plastic coolant recovery bottle with Wisk, hot water and a round household scrub brush. If you exceed a 50/50 water and DexCool mixture, it will not adsorb heat from the engine as efficiently or get rid of the heat in the radiator as well as a perfect 50/50 mixture. Always buy 100% DexCool Antifreeze and fill 1/2 the total capacity of an empty clean cooling system first with 100% DexCool then fill the remaining space with distilled water.
