- Round, average carpet will be around 3./3.50$ a s/f. This isn t fancy and not the cheapest... This is an installed price with pad ( 5 1/2# minimum) and standard installation. Won t cover rip out and disposal of the old. This is just a general price to get you an idea.. And your right.. carpet is only sold in the s/f format..
