- Q: I had shortlisted the Sony Ericsson T700 and G502 as the choices for my first mobile phone. I am pretty convenient at using mobile phones (as all my relatives have one) so using them is not a problem. My first pref is the T700 but as it is costlier and mostly has the same features as the cheaper G502 (except camera mp, menu layout and more RSS functions), I am thinking of going for the G502. However, I have read that the G502's build quality is poor and it hangs and restarts and similar sort of things. Also some people say that the colour starts coming off after a few months. Is that a cause for worry?I know that firmware needs to be updated regularly so, if I maintain it well, are there chances of problems creeping up? I would also like to know from G502 users if they liked it or if they had some specific problems with it? In the end, should I wait for the T700's price to drop or should I go for the G502?Thanx for reading.
- I've had one for about a couple of months now and had no problems with it. I was just after a low cost phone that would allow me to check emails, get weather reports, connect to messenger, etc. The screen is a little small but I can read my mail using Google's excellent mobile mail app. I haven't tried to write an email with it yet. Build quality is good and I haven't had any problems with it hanging, although a couple of websites that I was viewing with the built in browser have caused it to restart. Can't comment on the paint coming off yet. I think the screen would be easily scratched so I try to avoid putting it in the same pocket as keys, coins, etc. and I'm looking for some sort of cover to protect it. Overall, it does the job for me and I've been pleased with it in the first couple of months I've had it. Best regards,
- Q: how is mobile phone modelled
- Mobile phone radiation and health concerns have been raised since the 1990s, especially following the enormous increase in the use of wireless mobile telephony throughout the world (as of August 2005, there were more than 2 billion users worldwide). This is because mobile phones use electromagnetic waves in the microwave range. These concerns have induced a large body of research (both epidemiological and experimental, in non-human animals as well as in humans). Concerns about effects on health have also been raised regarding other digital wireless systems, such as data communication networks. The results, so far, have been controversial: the majority of epidemiological studies have not found any clear indication of short and medium term health hazards. On the other hand there is extensive literature (see The Stewart Report for a survey) on so-called non-thermal effects of weak microwave radiation on biological tissue in animal models or in-vitro, including affecting the growth of certain tumors, cell death, increased permeability of the blood-brain barrier, DNA damage and others, which suggest the possibility of adverse health effects in humans. Here is the site to where i got this, i hope this helps you.
- Q: A FRIEND RECENTLY GAVE ME A T-MOBILE PHONE THE DASHER. MY PHONE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY WITH CRICKET. CAN I GET THIS PHONE TURNED ON WITH CRICKET?
- Sorry but no, They are two different service types, Cricket is CDMA (doesnt use a sim card) and Tmobile is GSM (sim card required) there are two companys that you can swap service with cricket. US celullar and Verizon.
- Q: do iphone app work on other mobile phones?if so what phones?and if not why not?
- nope check with the app's developer or website and see if they make them for other platforms/phones. Some of the popular companies that make apps for the iphone make them for other phones also. Especially the big game maker companies like EA (electronic arts). They do not make them for all platforms because it is like going back and reprograming the app for Mac when it was made for Windows. Get it?
- Q: Good reasons for young people to have mobile phones?

- Q: I really want a certain phone from T Mobile, but my plan is on Verizon and I cannot switch. is there any way to do this?
- yes there are people that can hack the phone so you can use any type of service.
- Q: I want to get a new mobile phone so i was just wondering which mobile phone should i get and which one is the best one at the moment?
- Well, it depends on the wireless carrier you have, and what you do with your phone. If you love taking pictures all the time, get one with a really good camera like that new LG Viewty or whatever it's called. If you like texting, get one with a full QWERTY keyboard, and if you're a businessperson or browse the web a lot, look into a smartphone.
- Q: I'm deciding to change my mobile phone. Which mobile phone brand looks cool / cute and has good functions. Tell me the name of it and if possible, the picture of it. Thanks. Umm, it's like, there should be cameras in it and all those good functions.Anyone recommend any good ones?
- Nokia?
- Q: Can they do that while the mobile is off? How's that anyway?
- It is possible , they trace the signal the mobile phone sends to whatever satellite or coverage tower. This might get a little confusing as a mobile phone recieves signal from the tower , but it still has to send a small signal as a request for that coverage pretty much just like when you click a link on a website. When the mobile's off it can only be traced through the passive energy wave released from the battery , which wouldn't be exactly tracing the particular phone but any mobile phone compatible batteries within a certain area
