Unfortunately your only choice is to buy a phone at invoice price. If you have a t-mobile account currently you can upgrade for a discounted price on any phone you want, but it WILL extend your contract for 2 years. The only way to avoid the contact extension is to buy the phone at the invoice price. You can go to any t-mobile store and they would be more than happy to help you.

Yes, there is a way, you need 2 contact a cell technician and ask for a circuit that allows 2 SIM cards to work simultaneously in the same phone. There are two types of phones sold on OKorder: Phones with a contract and phones without a contract. A phone without a contract: all you need is a T-Mobile Sim card. You can get a prepaid one or you can set up a plan. A phone with a contract: Its a lot cheaper but you will have to activate the phone through the seller, which means for you putting up a deposit. What I would do is go to a T-Mobile store and tell them that you are getting a T-Mobile free from your dad and what your options are. Don't let them talk you into signing anything right there and then. Go back home and think about your options and then make a decision.

i think basically,phones from foreign nations have an inbuilt sim-card that can auto detect available netwoks.have u started using the phone?if not then i think u should consult a qualified person for breaking the seal of the sim card.only then u will be able to access the indian netwoks.the sim card must be holding the list of the netwoks from england and america.tats what is the list you are talking about in the my networks list.

I have the same deal and it appears to be related to how much the phone companie's network traffic is at any given time, as well as how good of a mobile phone connection that you have. Mine seems to never transfer at the 115Kb that Windows is indicating it is connected at. It could also be appearing slow because you are used to having a much higher speed connection and now are faced with a much slower one. The intermittent is likely because web pages are coming over in bits and spurts which have to be assembled by the browser before it can display anything. Bottom line though is that if you are getting anything through this connection it is more than nothing which is what you have if you are not connected by copper/fiber/cable modem/wireless router.
