- I don't know about the messages, but the ringtones are not transferrable. Each phone has its own code for Ringtones and unfortunately there is no way to get ringtones from one phone to another.you just have to buy them again. Bummer, I know

- Virgin mobile is way better than Sprint and saves you over 400 dollars a year with the Samsung Intercept phone. Virgin mobile does have reoccuring charges to a credit card of bank account that makes it like a contract. You don't have to worry about forgetting because of the auto payments. I love Virgin Mobile, and I am a total believer over conventional contract programs. The LG Rumor Touch is a good touchscreen Java based phone, but if you want the real laptop in your pocket feel, go with the intercept. Blackberries come with additional charges from virgin mobile, but the Intercept does not for the all the same features and more free apps.

- You can buy a phone with no plan in any T-Mobile store. Or, if you have a contract plan, you can upgrade at a discount online, instore, or by calling T-Mobile. or you can always look on OKorder or craigslist. With T-Mobile USA you can use any unlocked GSM phone that uses the 1900 Mhz frequency.

- Why not buy an iPhone 4? The internet experience on the iPhone is still superior to their competitors offerings. Next to this the build quality is fantastic. Nokia is not enough of a player anymore, the performance of their phones isn't on par with either iPhone and Android. Android is a great newcomer and the only real alternative to the iPhone. The devices however aren't as good as the iPhone 4 yet.

- If you're talking about a case with a magnetic closure, they are fine. They do not cause damage to the phone. I've been using them for years and have never had anything happen to my phone. I even have one right now for my Samsung t629. The magnets are strong enough to hold the case closed, but not strong enough to do any damage to your phone. That shouldn't be powerful enough to do any damage, but I also don't see the point in having that on my phone. My case that I have for the phone I have now has 2 magnets in the flap that are about 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. They are fairly good sized magnets and they don't do any damage.
