The First red wire goes to the solenoid on the fender well right by the battery. the second red wire goes from the solenoid to the starter on the one main post there. the black wire goes from the engine block to the battery on the negative side. All connections must be tight but not not crushing on the battery

If your talking about the power wire the feeds the radio on the eclipse then you need to check both fuses. On the eclipse they put an in line fuse before the fuse box and one at the fuse box and either one could be blown. If neither one is blown then you do have a break in the wire. does not half to be cut but it can be an internal break. If i was you and the fuses are not blown i would run your own wire from the battery with an in line fuse to your radio. This happened to me so that's how i know about the two fuses. hope this helps.

Get a roll of cable from a shop like halfords and connect together with connector block. Of just connect the original wire to a metal part of the car close to the light. Just have to scratch a bit paint off for a good connection

Red sometimes orange is power wire, black is ground, blue is remote the rest are speaker wires. Sure is!. You wire it exactly the way the instructions say to. Which is to use the 2 wires on the existing switch. The bare wire on the switch (if present) is the ground and goes to the green. Just like the instructions say. You are apparently letting all those other wires scare you. The motion sensor is nothing more than an automatic switch. It does the same thing the existing switch does, using the exact same wires. Do Not touch any of the existing splices. Look again at the instructions. Take a deep breath and have at. I've been in control cabinets with Hundreds of wires in them. I ignored all but the ones I need to work on. Other wise I would still be there trying to figure it out! (chuckle)

Q:when checking white wire at the box it is cold when checking at the light switch it has power i am confused

The white is the neutral and has no power in it from the breaker box. When you check it at the light or switch you are getting power back through the light bulb.
