- You could probably sew them together with rug yarn that you can get in a craft store. Depending on what the backing of the rugs are made of, this might be difficult OR, they have iron on tape that is made just for rugs. I've never seen it in the stores but I've never really looked for it either. I did see them use it on a show on HGTV. You lay the rugs face down with the joining edges against each other on the floor, place the tape evenly along the edges you want to connect, and press with a hot iron. When the joined rugs cool, turn the piece over and comb back and forth with your fingers to hide any of the new seam that night be showing.

- There is a poduct called Goof-Off. Works for tar, gum, paint, and other sticky type things. It works well, and doesn't have too bad of an odor. It is nice to keep around the house. Comes in an orange spray bottle and is pretty easy to find.

- Q:I haven't vacuumed my carpet in over 2 months and its really dirty. I know its disgusting but I hate this flat so much and I rarely come here, just to sleep. - Move everything out, vacuum the entire room of dust and debris, and buy some powdered carpet cleaner that you just sprinkle on the carpeting. When it dries, vacuum up all the residue, then move everything back in. Don't use vinegar. It will soak into the carpet and you'll have to wait hours and hours for it to dry before you can vacuum again, and then it will still smell like vinegar. If the carpet is still dirty after the treatment, you might want to rent a carpet machine from somewhere and use a water-based cleaner--but again, vacuum first, clean next and wait until it dries thoroughly, then re-vacuum.

- first moisture causes mold if not properly dried not ashes and second if you steam clean the area it will let up rather easily and wont stain the carpet even if left for a while.

- Instead of investing in a rug doctor try some pet stain and odor eliminator to treat the areas and then some pet OFF which smells terrible and the dog won't go there again. The dog needs to be able to go outside or given an area to go. My dog can stay inside for 10 hours or more and waits for me to let him outside because I praise him when he wants to go out.

- No, it doesn't. The most bombed country in history was North Vietnam, and they were scarcely subdued - they ended up winning the war! I wonder if you've been reading Mitchell and Douhet's theories? In reality, air bombing is very effective against point targets or small-area suppression. But trying to carpet-bomb with conventional explosives simply creates alot of collateral damage. It doesn't give you any additional military effectiveness while putting your air-fleet at much greater risk.
