Q: I have a cream couch with thin stripes color stripes are tan, beige Brown... Would this rug go good infront of it?! I plan to get a palm plant to put at the end of the couch- its a 2 piece sectional really nice!!!But im into more natural nuetral colors... for our living room!: There would be too much of cream/beige color. Your carpet should be brighter green or burgundy or use an almost white carpet.

Q: It's like a Persian rug (much less expensive--a rustic rug for our lodge-style home that's perfect as a wallhanging, but we want to hang the rug like a tapestry using velcro against a velcro-stapled board (as they do in museums). Q: What is a Sisal Rug?: as the first post said you can get sisal in a varitey of colors and styles.....I have some sisal carpet in my home and it looks great and wears like iron, it is expensive for the good quality sisal but very worth it.

Q: I am renting this house and the carpet smells. I don't know why...it's not dog or cat urine or anything like that. Do the synthetic fibers the carpet are made out of or the cushion under the carpet cause this odor...it really builds up if you are out of the house for a day or two...and what can one do to fix this...shampooing didn't work: Since you shampooed the carpet, the smell might be in the pad under the carpet. If it was urine, you can go to a pet store and buy a solution which breaks down the urine. Getting smell out of the pad it difficult. You may want to get an ionizer to see if that helps........
