- Q:What to do if the blood drops on the carpet
- Using detergent is ok
- Q:What's good about the carpet?
- The carpet appeared since ancient times, in ancient times, productivity is still relatively small, but by material constraints, the carpet is basically true cortex of the carpet, so the cost is very high, so making carpet is very rare, but the price is quite expensive.
- Q:How to clean the red wine stains on the carpet
- Using water absorption paper to absorb the water in wine on carpet immediately, and the convenient way is if there is cat litter at home, you can sprinkle them onto wine stains, quickly absorb moisture, and then use the vacuum cleaner suck 2 It must be washed by cold water 3 Finally, using detergent, as long as it is alkaline, wait for a while, it plays the role of washing powder, then prepare a pot of cold water and then wipe repeatedly with duster cloth, until use a piece of absorbent paper to try, if there isn't light red mark, it is good.
- Q:Okay, so that's 2 questions in one. Don't hold it against me. Instead, please suggest a cleaner (or a home-made recipe/solution) for cleaning and shining stainless steel small appliances (coffee maker, panini maker, barmen's toolset, and some others) and for how to get set-in stains out of a small oriental rug. Don't know the composition of the stains; they've been there for awhile. They are on a white-ish background. Thanks!
- we use Sprayway Glass Cleaner on our stainless things. it doesn't contain ammonia which leaves a film on s.s. and that is what attracts dirt and fingerprints. it's great on windshields, too.
- Q:how to stretch existing carpet?
- That's a power stretcher. Place either with the head about 1/2 away from the wall and either kick the carpet onto the tack strip or engage the handle of the power stretcher to pull it on to the T/S. Note: make sure the carpet is secure on the tack strip BEHIND you, so the stretch can happen. You may need to gently kick along one wall to move the carpet up onto the tack strip, and then put some muscle into the kicks along the opposite wall. It is also a good idea to kick the corners first -on a diagonal (the corner on the left in front of you, then the one on the right BEHIND you -then reverse it. If the room is mall enough, the kicker will do the job, but if it is big, you'll need BOTH kicker and power stretcher.
- Q:I purchased an old wool, floral patterned, pile area rug (approx. 8' x 10') at an auction. It needs cleaned and there is not a professional cleaner in my area. Can I clean it with a traditional steam cleaner using cold water? If so, what about the beater bar? Do I need to diconnect that so I don't fuzz the wool? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
- Since you don't have a cleaning service in your area;I would recomend taking it to laundry mat that has commerical washers and add 1/2 cup woolite and wash on the lowest setting and then take home and place over railing or flat surface and let air dry. I do this with my Oriental area rugs. If a laundry mat is unavailable; use the recomendation above in your bath tub; squeezing gently after your drain tub and then palce over railing or place on flat surface.
- Q:I'm looking into carpeting a room and was wondering how much the carpet is. I will be installing it myself.
- It depends on the type of carpet you buy as to the price. If you install it yourself, that will save you money. Look at Lowe's. They have carpet left over from putting it in houses, and you may find enough to fit your room. It is cheaper.
- Q:Ok so i want to get new carpet in my basement and on the Home Depot website it says that youcan get any size carpet for only $139, but idk if this includes taking the old carpet out. If not, then how would i do that, and/or how much will it cost???
- They give you an estimate if you go in and tell them the size of the room. Removing is usually included in carpet stores but Home Depot might charge for that but you can ask.
- Q:So my carpet (40 year's of age) was torn out my bedroom this morning. And what do ya knw!! there was a beatiful hardwood floor underneath. I saw all the stains/mold on the carpet and whatnot. Before I had trobule breathing and would wake up with a headace every morning becuase of the smell. However, I can notice a slight difference in smell but not a drastic Now, I can't decide if I should get a new carpet or just live with the hardwood floor that's already there. . I still have to sweep the dust and mop. Getting a brand new carpet is expensive. But with a hardwood floor in the winter it can be a little uncomterable. Any idea's??
- Depends on what the hardwood looks like. You can always get a rug to cover up part of the floor you walk on so it is not so cold. If you want a new carpet I would suggest ripping up the hardwood if you know the sub floor is good. If you had mildew and mold it means you had moisture problem probably which could also caused mildew a mold in the hardwood. If you purchase a good quality pad with a new carpet it will take care of the moisture.
- Q:my job is making rug and i am a iranian person live in iran i wanna sell my rug and teaching making rugs
- if you give me your price and the size of carpet, I would buy from you. My husband is a persian rugs expert and I made rugs for many years. we can find the quality of the carpet by viewing the photo.
