Q: I recently blacked out and fell onto the floor face first, causing some moderate rug burns. I'm wondering if I should be concerned about scarring, and if so what I should do to prevent it. I've been keeping a coat of neosporin on it constantly so far.
Regarding the rug burn, it does not look like a very deep wound from the picture. Most scrapes are shallow but painful because a large area of skin is missing. Shallow wounds do not usually scar. My brother went headfirst over the handlebars of his bike about 6 weeks ago and had some really nasty scrapes, some of which were moderately deep, and he didn't scar at all. Just keep it clean, wash it daily with soap and warm water. Keep using the neosporin as well. That will prevent infection and keep it moisturized; both of those things will help speed up healing, and the faster things heal the less likely they are to scar. Once it's all healed there will be some residual redness in the area for probably 3-7 days, but that isn't scarring and it should go away. Regarding you passing out, I would advise a doctor's visit. Getting light headed when standing is called orthostatic hypotension and it has a number of possible causes; some of them are fairly serious, such as a heart problem. Your orthostatic hypotension, plus now an unrelated episode of fainting indicates some sort of underlying problem. Better to go and get checked, just to be safe.
Q: How to clean a silk carpet?
When the wash and then will suck the silk carpet again, wipe down the wreckage of the net absorption. This pure silk even after dry cleaning. In addition, pure silk spike, water base detergent scrub.
Q: What kind of carpet do you use in the office?
Office carpet belongs to chemical fibber carpet commonly, and carpet of carpet of polypropylene of the majority, this kind of carpet wearability is strong, and polypropylene carpet is easier to clean up. Polypropylene carpet can be said to be the first choice of office carpet, carpet is the best cleaning varieties.
Q: which rooms are they in
One for my entrance. One for my back entrance. The bathroom rug. One in the kitchen for by sink(for the water spills).
Q: How much could it cost me to carpet or laminate my living room, dining room, and up the stairs?
As okorder okorder (BHK - Uniclic glueless Laminate) Happy shopping!
Q: Excuse me, what kind of material can the carpet be divided?
1. Nylon nylon carpet has the characteristics of durability, anti-corrosion, mould proof, moth proof, acid and alkali resistance, tensile resistance, abrasion resistance and other properties of strong twists and especially the price is low, it's suitable for laying corridors, stairs, living room and office, where peolple frequently go. the shortcomings of the nylon carpet is that it produces electrostatic easily, heatproof, easy combustion and pollution 2. Propylene propylene fiber is lighter than wool, moisturizing performance is good.flame retardant treatment experts approximate wool easy to burn less than acrylic fiber elastic nylon wool blanket acrylic acid and alkali resistant, corrosion resistant wool blanket price is lower than the current home use, it can not produce fiber acrylic blanket wool weaving wool blanket using front belongs to fiber tubular respiration wool can be absorbed into the indoor moisture in dry indoor water; can only make water properties of wool blanket can adjust the indoor humidity, prevent combustion can prevent indoor air charged wool surface was good moisture absorption effect of squamous In the same row of waterproof function of wool, wool is difficult to be polluted, the wool is coiled elastic, and the wool is easy to be glued. The wool is easy to be dyed and the operation life of all kinds of color.
Q: My carpet is 20' X 16' The price is PER SQUARE YARD The price is roughly $25 PER SQUARE YARD.... PLEASE help me! How much will it cost!
You have 35.6 square yards so take that times 25 and you end up with $890.00 for that much carpet. Don't forget the pad and installation fee, sometimes it is included sometimes it is not. How I got my answer is 20*16=320 sqft. There are 9 square feet in a square yard so you divide 320/9=35.55555555555556 any carpet seller will round this off to 35.6 square yards. take 35.6sqyd * $25 = $890.00 for that much carpet. To Rob S remind me never to buy carpet from you! to get the square feet of the room you multiply the length and width 20*16 = 320 sqft for the room. Now I know that carpet rolls come in 12 and 15 foot wide rolls, and that the carpet can be sold either way by the sqyd or sqft. Just because you do it one way does not mean it is the only way.
Q: I'm trying to figure out how to place a standard rectangular rug under a horseshoe shaped sectional with an oval coffee table making up the center. Should the rug go under the whole sectional with room to spare behind it? That would have to be a very large rug.Can the sectional be only partway under the rug?
I like to see area rugs placed at an angle under horseshoe configured sectionals. You can put it just under the front so that there isn't a gap that will get dirty right in front of the curved portion of the couch. You are placing the rug to anchor the couch to the room and protect the flooring underneath, having it under the couch doesn't serve either purpose. This saves you a little money as well in that you don't have to purchase such a large area rug...
Q: So I have this cheap $20 rug from walmart thats teal. I did away with it for a while but now that I want my room redone, I want a black rug to go in front of a futon. How would I go about dyeing this rug instead of buying a new one and leaving this one to collect dust? It has a plastic wired bottom to hold the rug together and to act slip resistant. Would dyeing it affect it?
Whether dyeing would work depends on what fibre it's made of. If it's wool or cotton, it would dye quite well with ordinary dyes, though it might present a few difficulties since dyes usually call for being heated, and a lot of rinsing after. If it's a synthetic fibre, which it very likely is, it might not dye at all because synthetics don't absorb dye very well, if at all. If they do, they usually require processes that would be very difficult to achieve with a rug, such as heating the dye bath with the item in it. All in all, it's probably not worth even trying. Find a cheap black rug to buy.
Q: Ok so i want to get new carpet in my basement and on the Home Depot website it says that youcan get any size carpet for only $139, but idk if this includes taking the old carpet out. If not, then how would i do that, and/or how much will it cost???
They give you an estimate if you go in and tell them the size of the room. Removing is usually included in carpet stores but Home Depot might charge for that but you can ask.
