(You still have to vacuum some areas where it can't reach, under the bar stools, etc.) I wish I would have bought this years ago! I was skeptical, but desperate to keep up with a shedding puppy. After 2 months of use, I'm very pleased with my Roomba (nicknamed Putzfrau, German for cleaning lady). It does an amazing job even with LOTS of dog hair. I clean it after every use, which takes only a few seconds. It works equally well on hardwood and carpeted areas. It doesn't do as well with the door mats, but does get around furniture and over area rugs. I highly recommend it - a huge time saver. The bottom line is that most people really are impressed with Roomba vacuum cleaners.

- Q: Here is the thing I know ALL dry vacuums (bag or filtered) loose air flow and never loose suction. What I noticed with dyson is, the quot;never loose suctionis more a copy right than technology patent. Why any vacuum company cannot claim no lose off air flow? Which what does the cleaning, not suction. the little shark vacuum (shaped like a football) never looses suction too. So can you show me a vacuum that looses suction?
- You're right. Vacuum cleaners don't lose suction due to general usage and failure to clean filters. The only way it could happen is if the cleaner in question has a malfunction which causes the fans to turn at a reduced velocity, if a seal has developed a leak, broken fan blades etc. So to answer your question... No I can't.

- Pop into your local library and see if they have the 2010 Buying Guide that Consumer Reports puts out. That's the last one I remember seeing. However, I will warn you, I was disappointed. They rated Hoover very high and after having two of them and nothing but trouble with no results from Hoover, I went to a Bissell Healthy Home. Now happy as a clam with my vacuum.

- Q: i need it for picking up guinea pig droppings. i've built an indoor pen, with safe soil and grass i grew for them to run around in, just because theres dangerous things outside, plus if given the chance they would run away haha... thats how it is ( No matter how much you love them gt;lt;) but im worried, that all the handheld vacuum cleaners i can find claim to be strong, and able to pick up deep.. yaddayadda.. i need something pretty weak, because i dont want to uproot the grass/seeds. any advice?
- Whatever you buy, DON'T buy a dry dirt cordless dust buster - if you can, seek out a Wet and Dry model and the cheapest ones with 6V batteries or less will give you a weak suction. Not a lot of hand held cordless dust busters are really that strong - even Dyson ones run out of power after 5 mins! However, You may find that it won't even pick up - a slight downside. Dry dust hand helds are only for dry dust - the wet and dry option has a harder filter that can be used for picking up droppings, plus it's easier to clean out. ALSO, big tip from me - if you are worried about it picking up the grass/seeds, just cut up a pair of old tights and line the mouth of the dust buster into one of the open toe sections - the Lycra allows you to suck up what you want but you'll have to manually remove the droppings : (. It's a trick I learnt when watching a program about the Queen in London! Handy for earrings etc too!
