Q:I have a pug that sheds constantly and I have gone through a few vacuum cleaners.: I've found its better to invest in a high quality vacuum than to just keep buying cheap ones. I have a Dyson Pet Hair vacuum and it works great. It's out lasted all my other vacuums.

Q:My vacuum has the ability to fill air matresses, so all that I need is an entention to fill a sport ball. I'd rather that over an electric ball pump because they're priced at $60+ and probably not as good!: No. You could rig something though. Do you have 100 balls to fill or something? It takes very little time to fill a ball by hand.

Q:don't say the noise, because i remember one occasion i was in my friends house and the dog started chasing me.so i ran round the table and reached for the vacuum (which wasn't on) and it immediately started to back off. now before you say something like it knows the noise....this Dog was a huge puppy.so i doubt MEMORY would have been great.: Why would you use it to scare away a dog anyway? If anything you'd want the dog to associate it with something good. I guess the dog just disliked the noise and the way it moved about when its seen it before, it remembered this 'bad' experience and now dislikes the vacuum, thats why it needs to be assoicated with good things. Or just ignoring the dog until it is calm then praising...

Q:Vacuum bags or bagless vacuum cleaners?: I wanted a cloth bagged vaccuum but they just dont seem to make them, we have a rather dusty old house and I can fill a bag in no time and dont want to be buying endless paper bags. I bought a new vaccuum with the disposable paperbags BUT I also bought this attachment that goes on the hose like a jug and all the dirt, well 98%, goes in this jug that you can just pop off and empty when its holding enough, amazing how much goes in there and now instead of filling a bag within a week I empty the jug after every room, sometimes more, and I have a bag now that lasts about 5 months. SO my answer is like a mixture of the two. OH yes I was also told that the bagless types dont have the suction of the bagged ones, whether this is true, I dont know but I am WAY SO happy with my set up!!!!!

Q:What are the best reasonably priced HEPA air filters out there? Is it best to get one that attached to a furnace (but then its only running when the heat or AC is on) or a few smaller ones and move them room to room?Also, I understand that it is imprtant to try and vacuum with a HEPA vacuum. Any advice on something out there that is reasonably priced (and reasonably priced filters).For both, I want to get something that is not too cheap (ie something that actually works) but not top of the line (I am not running a hospital.. just want to increase the quality of the air we breathe at home.: Hello, okorder
