Feature: MOTOR
Squirrel cage, induction motors are F class insulation. motor protection grade is IP68.

NON-CLOG IMPELLER
Well statically & dynamically balanced Non-Clog impeller is designed to allow sizable spherical solids to pass the plow passage easily without clogging. It adopts rigorous
technics so that vibration and noise can be farthest reduced.

SEAL MECHANISM
The cable assembly is formed to one piece . The mechanical seals protect the motor from contacting the pumping liquids. Two ways of the seal are in series
with each other and individually work to provide the motor with a dual protection.

AUTO-SETTER
To allow pump for easy installation, maintenance & reparation, as it is no need to empty the tank first.

LEAKAGE DETECTOR
Built-in leakage detector in the oil chamber can dectet leakage from the damage of the mechanical seal. (The power lower than 15KW is optional, not lower than 15KW is standard accessories.)Built-in leakage detector in the wiring box can check if a leak in it,The leakage detector offers pump an automatic protection. (Not stamdard accessories, the power not lower than 18.5KW is optional)

HEAT-DETECTOR
Built-in heat protector in motor, it secures the protection of motor against burning out. (The power lower than 15KW is optional, not lower than 15KW is standard accessories.) overload & overheating to Built-in heat protector in bearing, when the bearing is abnormal and the temp-
erature rises to disconneting temperature, the protector automatically cat off power supply to protect the bearing.(options)

COOLING HOUSE (OPTINS)
Pumps make use of inner pressure of pump cauvty to make liquid contiwue entering to space between cooling house and motor outer, to take away the heat the motor produces. ( The power not lower than 18.5KW is optional)

Q: Does the water pump and the circulating pump belong to the centrifugal pump?
As long as the flow and head to meet what pump can be, the general centrifugal pump applications are more.
Q: We have a private well with a 40 year old water pump that is rusting away, and sounds like a truck. It's a double jet well pump sitting on a tank, with a second tank to one side that it's also connected to (with a thick pipe). I don't quite understand why there are two tanks (there's a third which is obviously the hot water). I'm guessing one of these is to hold water, and the other to provide air pressure? In any case, the pump runs OK, it doesn't leak, and provides plenty of pressure. It is just unbelievably loud. I've been told that replacing the bearings might take care of this problem, but seeing how the tank the pump rests upon (with a thin tube connecting it to the pump) is rotting away, and the system is older than I am, should I just replace the whole thing?
It sounds like you have two pressure tanks. I am going to guess that the one under your pump probably went out and instead of taking it out and re-plumbing everything they just spliced in a new tank. You can get a re-build kit for most pumps but it sound like your pump is pretty old and probably being held together with faith and rust and taking it apart might cause more problems. What I would do is price out what the re-build cost and what labor might be against what a new system might be. If you decide to go with a new system I would suggest looking into getting a submersible pump, using the same tank but making sure it is in a good location and plumbed with a union. when your pressure tank finally goes out it is going to weigh a ton and trying to move it around plumbing can be difficult. good luck and happy holidays.
Q: So my daughter's car is an 02 Accord manual with about 127k miles. It's making a squeaky noise which apparently is the belts. The dealer says they're too tight, but are in okay condition. They want to change the water pump and adjust the belts for $750. This seems a bit steep to me. Does the water pump need to be changed if it's working properly? How much should it cost to adjust the belts? I'm thinking she should find a more reasonable shop. What are your thoughts?
The water pump is driven by the timing belt. I do the water pump and timing belt with the pulleys and tensioner for around $600. If the drive belts are making noise try dusting some talcum or body powder on them. Don't use belt dressings, they never work. The timing belt should be replace around 90,000 miles so if that hasn't been done you should have it replaced or you will bend all the valves when the timing belt jumps or breaks. That's a 14 year old vehicle and the timing belt needs attention.
Q: Ac was working fine before the mechanic replaced the water pump. Now the AC only blows hot air. Is this related?
Ac Water Pump Not Working
Q: I just got a new boat with a diesel engine and I don't understand why there is a coolant tank as well as a water pump? I think the water pump goes to the heat exchanger but what actually cools the motor - how does this stuff work?
if you do indeed have a heat exchangers, you have two loops at work...the coolant circulates in the engine with its own pump; the tank is for topping up just like in a car. The external water pump....the one connected to the hose to the seacock / through hull...draws in cool sea water, passes that through the heat exchanger where it cools the coolant and then the hot sea water goes out the exhaust. This way you're not circulating hot corrosive sea water through the engine and shortening its life.
Q: I know that the water pump is belt driven, so it would be easy to connect it to my bicycle. What I am wondering is if I can pedal fast enough to make it work. Does anyone know how fast I would need to pedal to operate the pump?
Pretty fast. Engines operate at 600-6000 rpm and the pump pulley is a little smaller than the drive pulley, so it is spinning even faster. That said, 600 rpm is plenty fast enough. You can attain that easily by applying pulley to rear tire tread, raising tire off ground and pedaling. To apply bike chain to pulley would give a disappointing water flow.
Q: There is a loud squeecking noise coming from the water pump and the serpentime belt isnt loose!I dont know how long it would take a mechanic to do the job?
type into search box how to replace water pump how to replace water pump s-10 how to replace water pump chevy about two to four hours maybe depending on mechanic and how busy the shop is and before you go and start replacing water pump if its not leaking its not bad yet and most likely will be a bad pulley or belt tension-er which go bad before water pump most of time you can spray water or wd40 on pulley to check if motor not running hot and you dont see any coolant coming from water pump most likey not bad belt tension-er pulley cost about 30 bucks anyone can replace in about 30 minutes
Q: I want to run 1 HP, 220 v, single phase water pump on solar panels without using any batteries. what do I need to do so amp; how do I wire it?
Hey R, if you have an existing pump you are trying to run that is designed for 220 AC, I would suggest going with the battery and inverter, but either way it will take about 1200 watts of solar. With no battery, the panels need to provide for the surge power to start up the pump, so now you're looking at at least 2000 watts of panel. Then as Caoedhen pointed out, one cloud goes by, it shuts down then starts again, this is not good for pump longevity, so you'll be spending more on replacement parts too. If you don't have the pump yet, and you want to go solar, I would use a slow DC pump, they make them strictly for solar panel operation, no batteries or special controllers. Windy Dankoff probably is the expert, do a google search for DC slow pumps, or look for Windy's website. Then you can get by with a lot less panel, and a better pump for them, plus no batteries. Take care, Rudydoo
Q: What does water pump mean?
The pump is the pump, and pump the water where you want it
Q: How tight to a tighten down the bolts on a '86 volvo 240 water pump. The manual I bought doesn't say. The torque won't help me cause I don't have a torque wrench, so just general discription would help a lot. (I stripped the threads on a stud last time)
