As shown in Figure4,there are two elastic O-ring in the valve seat ring-ring A and ring B.Sealing ring A spring-loaded through the valve seat so that the sealing surface of sealing ring A tightly fit with ball surface to form an initial seal.When there is pressure in the system medium,the piston force
produced by the piston force produced by the piston effect of size difference makes elastic deformation of the ring A Ershi sealing surface and ball more closely fit the surface to form a re-sealing;meanwhile,due to ring A in the medium resulted in elastic deformation under pressure so that the sealing ring B is also closely fit the surface of ball for the formation of the second stage seal.When the system medium pressure increasing,it will have an enormous pressure in the valve seat ring A and ring B,so that the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,and then the metal valve seat ring surface and the ball surface sealing together to form a third level of metal to metal seal.

)The assisted valve seat sealing equipment
Based on the actual service condition,medium requirement,sealing requirement,etc.,the assisted valve sealing equipment will be considered to be necessary or not.The assisted valve sealing equipment is a one-way valve installed outside of valve body that can prevent medium leakage and can inject sealing grease into valve body by external force.When the assisted valve seat sealing equipment is required,valve seat ring shall be design and processed with injection grove and hole to connect the assisted valve seat sealing equipments.Such equipment can prevent the medium by the sealing of injection of rease.Refer to Figure5 for reference.

Multi-level structure of stem sealing 
Figure6 shows the stem multi-level sealing by adopting"O"ring,flexible graphite and grease injection;"O"ring achieves the first level stem sealing;Replaceable flexible graphite realizes the second level sealing by the compression of packing sleeve and packing flange;And the third evel sealing is realized by installing assisted sealing injection valve to the packing box,and by designing with the injection groove and hole to connect with the stem injection valve,which can inject grease.

As shown in figure7,there is composite fireproof ring,which are combined with graphite and stainless steel wire in the seat.Once the soft ring is burnt out in case of a fire,the fireproof ring and seat ring will form a piston structure through the spring to load the valve body.That will push and closely contact the metal seal surface of the seat ring to the body surface,So as to prevent a lot of medium from leaking from the burnt place of the seat ring,and prevent the fire from expending.

Q:Long story short, have a 2001 acura tl had a rough idle/ no start issue. figured out by disconnecting vaccuum from the throttle body the idle was fine with the TB pulling air through the disconnected hose port. The hose i disconnected leads to the purge valve solenoid. I removed it and it is closed (no air flow), restarted car with hose disconnected and solenoid still harnessed in (still closed). Just need more info on the function of this thing and what it should be doing.. Can i bench test it with +12V and ground on the two pins? Thanks in advance.

Q:One of the zone control valves in my heating system does not appear to be working. The thermostat is calling for heat, but no water is flowing. If the other thermostats call for heat, the valves seem to open as the pipes above the valve get hot from the water flowing through. The one that appears busted gets luke warm at best. All 4 valves in the system are fed from the same pipe, and the failed valve is the third in the series of 4 along the pipe (and #4 flows fine) so it doesn't appear to be something in the feeder pipe.Is there anything I can do to try and fix the existing valve, can I replace the valve myself? Would replacing the valve top of the valve (the green/gold portion) possible fix the issue (maybe a problem with the operation of the piston? Is there anything I ahve to do before removing the valve top aside from removing power to the valve?
You would need to isolate the valve from the line, and depressurize the system, and I would think that turning off the heater and letting the temperature fall would probably be necessary if you don't want a relief to lift in the boiler. If you make a mistake here you have a very good chance of being scalded to death, or permanently scarred. Also, you may need to sweat and braise the new valve with a torch, so you had better be sure you know what you are doing and don't burn your house down.
Q:i was thinkin i needed rings cause my car was smokin like hell and had a bad compression test on one cylinder. anyways i got the head off and my valves are caked with black **** all down one side and the others are completely white. i dont know if when the car turns off if they're supposed to seal but four of them were about a quarter inch off the head. before i tested everything i was smokin like hell and barely runnin and you could hear a knockin sound in the exhaust at the rear of the car. could the head be the problem or still sound like rings??

As long as the eng check light isn't on then it will harm nothing. If the light is on but the van runs good it's because the computer is running in a fixed parameters ( emergency mode ) and it's not running at top potential.
Q:I have a stainless valve I want to install in a copper domestic water line. My concern is: are the two metals compatible? Are stainless steel and galvanized steel compatible?
I presume you have a threaded ss valve. It can be connected to a galvanized threaded pipe or threaded fitting. The ss valve can also be connected to copper pipe by using a male x sweat brass adapter (threaded one end, plain for soldering on the other). Brass will prevent problems from electrolysis. On threaded joints use teflon tape, or in the case where the pipe carries fuel oil, use pipe dope.
Q:One of my valves leaks a small amount of water through the valve and into the water line. why would it leak and what do i have to do to fix it. the valve is a rain jet valve. i would like to fix it without having to remove it from the valve box. inside the valve box there are 8 valves and they are glued in and i dont want to have to remove all of the valves and box.
