Q:What is the role of white mesh in power cables?
Section 4 "Downhole Cable" Article 466 No cable should be laid in the total return airway and the dedicated return airway
Q:My amp was working this morning. On my way home, the power cable came out somehow. I put it back in and it wasn't powering on. The amp fuses were blown, I replaced them. Then I went to hook the battery terminal back and the fuse in my power cable blew instantly. I replaced it and tried again and it blew again. Also the fuses in the amp are fine now. I did the same process when I installed my amp the first time and it was fine so I don't know why it's doing this now. The amp is a Boston Acoustics 800w RMS amp and an 80a fuse. Any ideas?
Look at your previous question. I told you what it probably is. Either you have strand(s) of power wire stick out somewhere and touching something it shouldn't be touching. Or. You tapped the power wire on something during removal and cooked the amps power supply. The current flow from a shorted circuit gets very hot, very fast.
Q:Its on power and one is in a pc monitor and one is lying on the ground. Will the electricity go through the cable that is not connected and lying on the ground? is this safe to touch with hands or shoes?
Pasting the reply I gave to the other (deleted) question: Assuming these are the IEC-standard power cables I'm thinking of, yes and no respectively. Electricity will be able to reach both ends, but the plastic insulation at the end of these connectors should disallow any contact between you and the live pins. You may want to consider covering it up in non-conductive electrical tape, though, just to be sure no debris get in causing it to go live outside of the connector.
Q:my laptop power cable is pluged in and turned on but it fails to charge or power my laptop but its in properly and sumtimes works .. any help?
ok....this might not be you power supply cable.. this may be a problem with your powerjack in your laptop, if that's loose, then it won't recieve any power from the cable...it will randomly though..i had the same problem a few months ago, and a little solder job will do the trick! take it to a good local repair guy (or me if you're in the uk hahaha)... and have the power jack resoldered.. try your power supply on another similar laptop to make sure it's not that..but generally speaking..once a power supply's fried..it won't work randomly...all it is, is a transformer and a converter... it would make sense if it was the power jack loose or has a faulty connection to the motherboard :) hope this helped!
Q:Wire and cable should be used in parallel when the attention
Have to fight trumpet, mainly to protect the cable jacket is not scratched
Q:I have an Eclipse SW9102 (101500 Watt Max, 750 W RMS, Dual 4ohm Voice coils) and I'm looking to buy an amp kit and amplifier. How big of an amp do I need and does it matter if its too much power? I'm looking at the SSL F2.2000 FORCE CLASS 2000W amp on OKorder as cost is a big factor in my setup. The OKorder link says:Max Power @ 2 ohm 1000W x 2 RMS Power @ 4 ohm 350W x 2 Bridged Power 2000W x 1 2 ohm stable in stereoIs this too powerful for my subwoofer? I've read that my sub can take more than it says but I don't want to risk it and I probably won't have this at full blast either. If I bought this one how would I wire it as I only have one sub?....would bridged be 4ohm 1000 Watt RMS x1?Also, what kind of amp installation kit should I buy? A lot of the 4 guage kits say they are rated for different maximum wattage. Are they actually different or can all 4 guage kits handle the same?Sorry I'm a noob! Thanks in advance!
first off get the bullshit out of the way.....the number u need off ur speakers is the RMS number which is 750.......u need amp set to a little under that if u want it to last for very long (meaning over 1 month) so ur looking for an amp that u can set at about 725-740 per channel........ so yes that amp will work as long as u don't max it out....... ** as for wires the bigger the better.........00 gauge is the smallest u should use and the ground should probably b bigger.....also the shorter the ground wire the better usually....
Q:It's not the original power cable but it's going to my current DVR.
The cable will work just fine.
Q:Hi, just moved to Finland from US. Will my x box 360 works with a new powell cable? Or do I need something else besides that. And where should I get it from in Turku or Helsinki. Thank you!
You could probably buy an adapter plug for your existing cable. Getting a whole new cable might very well mess with the machine itself, and be more expensive than a simple adapter. Just go to an electronics’ store, with the cable, (the bigger the better) and ask for a suitable adapter for it.
Q:i'm building a computer soon and i was unsure if the data/power cables come with the disc/hard drive or the motherboard or the psu.. HELP
IDE or SATA data cables come with the motherboard.
Q:at the end of power cable are 2 wires
I don't know what you mean by 302cm power cable. When it has 2 wires, one if usually the hot (power) and one is the ground (earth.) I don't know much else that'll help you, sorry.
