Q:Water pump pressure for shower?
Himin newly has launched a solar patented booster pump for non-pressure solar water heater and it's quiet and gives comfortable pressure for shower. This pump fits for area where water pressure is small or rural area.
Q:What does a wqater pump cost?
To replace the water pump on the 3.4L Venture calls for 1.3 hours labor (about $130) and the pump is about $30 and it is a good idea to replace the thermostat and flush the cooling system to get maximum life out of the pump and your cooling system about $100 so you would be looking at about $350
Q:We lost power and water during the hurricane, need help with water pump.?
1. you are going to need at least a couple gallons of water in a bucket to re-prime. 2. look for a plug at the top of the pump and remove it. 3. pour water into the plug opening, filling up the pump as much as you can. 4. put plug back in so at least one thread is grabbing. by doing this it will allow air to escape and won't be spraying water everywhere. it is also a good idea to keep your hand on the plug. 5. turn on electricity to pump. 6. when you start to notice pressure re-gaining tighten up the plug so it does not drip. It is also a good idea to have an outside tap on to get air out of the lines. Another thing is, it is a good idea to shut off water to toilets and washing machines before re-starting pump because small debris have a habit of clogging them up. When your pressure is back, drain your toilet and cold water line to your washing machine, flushing all the stuff out until you see nice clear water. Hope I helped and good luck.
Q:Water pump cost??????????
Water pumps are cheap.. its the install time and or labor cost to do it that is pricey
Q:How to I know if I need to replace the water pump?
Normally if the water pump is bad it will be leaking fluid from a little weep hole right under the pulley bearings. If you have fluid coming from there then yes it needs to be replaced.
Q:How to change a water pump on a 1991 Mercury Topaz?
The post above me is right on just take your time and make the bolts tight but don't over do it . Flush out before install of new pump. good luck
Q:What are the signs of a bad water pump?
i think this might be work on how to check if the water pump is in bad condition, first run your car for about 20 min or 30 min until it became hot. then look at your water pump while your engine is still running. if you noticed that there's a steam rolling off then it needs to be change or replace. or if you see that there's a leak. what you need to do is to look at it while the engine is running. then you will know if it is in bad condition.
Q:New water pump and radiator for 2000 Jeep Cherokee?
Could be both. The water pump may have been leaking. Did the leak stop after the work was done? If so then it was leaking. The radiator may just have lived out it's life. Corrosion will eventually cause these types of things. I don't know where you're located but $600 for a water pump is a rip off. Maybe you went to the dealer? If it's not under a warranty and you're not buying a new one the jeep does not belong at the dealership. I recently did my water pump on my 94. $100 including new hoses and about 45 minutes. So even parts mark up and $60 labor should have been about $210 or so. For the radiator they are about $150 again depending on where you are. See if you can get a 3 core. More cooling capacity almost the same price. If you're around Maryland e-mail me and I can help you do it yourself.
Q:Is this noise from my water pump?
wiggle the fan blades and if they move any it is a bad water pump, they will also leak a little bit under the main shaft of the water pump housing, there is a hole on the bottom and top just for this reason, the metal squealing is the impeller in the water pump, it wont last long now
Q:How do I know the timing belt/water pump needs to be replaced?
A water pump is mostly pretty obvious when it is going/gone it chirps it squeaks and your temperature will usually be higher than it usually was [not always]. As for a timing belt... they are relatively inexpensive, the labor isnt that bad since the car is VERY easy to work on, and it is difficult to tell when one is needed since the most it will make is a whining noise when its getting weaker, only sometimes though. This is hard to hear too. Best advice I have is to just get a couple appraisals/estimates, or have a friend who is mechanically savvy take a look to see if he/she can tell if the belt is worn to the point where it needs replacing. I had a timing belt done for $120 parts and labor on a 91 accord (same car)
