Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve
The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.
Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball
The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.
ball valve seat is floating structure,means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.

(Ⅱ)Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.
(Ⅲ)Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction,the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition,medium requirement,seal requirement,etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve,installed on the body,which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force.When secondary seal is required,there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring.The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball,and then stop the leakage.

- The pressure relief valve is to protect a tank or piping from rupturing from excess pressure. A vacuum relief valve would prevent tanks and piping from collapsing from too little internal pressure.
- Q: Im trying to make an apparatus that would allow you to breathe in from one tube and exhale through another is their a valve that does this. I originally thought that a one way valve might work however I cannot find one that works with suction.
- If I get your idea right, you would have two separate one way valves, one in each tube, facing in opposite directions. When you inhale the valve that opens provides air from that tube and the other one remains shut because the suction is pulling it closed. When you exhale, the inhale valve is pushed closed by the air pressure from your lungs and the exhale tube valve opens from the pressure provided by your lungs. Consider spring loaded valves if there are problems with the pause inbetween enough positive and negative air pressure in the tubes.

- For most valves, replacing the packing can be done without shutting down the water system. The first step is to back seat the valve. Back seating will occur when the valve is fully opened, and will temporarily seal the leak around the stem. You simply open the valve completely with about 50-100ft-lb of pressure. Once the leaking has stopped, you can remove the packing bolts and nuts on the packing gland. Slide the packing gland up the stem and you will have access to the packing. You may need a packing hook, which is a flexible corkscrew tool, to help remove the old packing. Once you have removed the old packing you will want to repack the valve with new packing by wrapping it around the stem and pushing it down into the valve body. After the new packing has been replaced, it may need to be compressed a little so that the packing gland can be reinstalled. This can be done using two pieces of all-thread rod. Cut both all-thread rods to 6 inches long, making sure to use the same diameter all-thread rod as your packing bolts. Place the all-thread rod through the packing gland and tighten the nuts onto the all-thread rod to compact the packing in the valve. Next, remove the all-thread rod and replace with the bolts. Turn the hand wheel, so the valve is about half way open. Finally, tighten the nuts evenly until all leakage around the stem stops. You may need to exercise the valve a few times to make sure there are no leaks around the stem. Be careful not to over tighten the gland because it can crack and there is no reason to compress the packing more than is needed to stop the leak.

- Q: ok so my 1993 bonneville started shaking and its smells like gas fumes in the car, so i cant drive it cause i have a newborn baby.so i took it to the dealership, they said codes 53,54,55,42,66 came up. they said i needed a new cadiletic converter, so i went to a local muffler shop. they said it was glowing cause it was so hot and said that wasnt the problem.i called the dealership back and they said they cleaned the egr vavle but said maybe it needs to be replaced, well before i spend any money i wanted to get everyones opinion, the car drive great, only shake when ur at idle. and smells awful inside uld this be the egr valve ?
- Having the CC being cherry red is a bad sign- and I think that the muffler shop got that part wrong. If the smell is like rotten eggs, the converter is definitely bad. Going by the codes, they are all the fuel mixture- and I would think that the cause might be the starting problem with the CC (I'd fix the problem first, the CC might just be OK). A lean burn condition will set all the codes you are finding, except the 66 (A/C pressure sending unit). It is going to sound kind of funny, but I would start with the fuel filter (just change it, they are cheap but can be a pain) and after that I would pop can the EGR to lock it out and see if the problem goes away- don't leave it like this, the thing is needed for the engine to run properly: Take the EGR off the engine- two 1/2 inch bolts on either side. Cut the ends off a pop can and cut it to fit the EGR and the bolt holes, and put it in between the manifold and the EGR and bolt everything back up. If the problem goes away, it is the EGR system back feeding exhaust into the intake at too low of RPM's. You still might find that the convertor is bad- that much heat melts the guts of the thing and creates back pressure that the engine cannot handle- just try the other two first just in case, the convertor is expensive.

- all EGR valves should ( unless a very odd engine) on exhaust manifold. they will have a tube outlet returning back to inlet manifold and a control mechanism on it ( electrical connection) . these valves are known to carbon up and fail both due to soot.heat .wear etc. very possible this is the problem. a temporary fix can occasionally be found by soaking over night in cleaning fluid such as easing oil or petrol etc and washing out but this sort of fix never lasts. be aware these valves are not cheap.
