Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.

As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

As the above graphic instruction,the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition,medium requirement,seal requirement,etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve,installed on the body,which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force.When secondary seal is required,there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring.The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball,and then stop the leakage.

Q:homeopathic treatment for mitral valve leakage?
good blood does not mix with bad blood. The values have nothing to do with that as the two sides of the heart are separate. With Mitral valve incompetence or prolapse, the valve does not close like it is suppose to. That allows back flow of blood. If bad enough, the treatment is a valve replacement. With Mitral valve stenosis, the valve does not open like it is suppose to. That prevents flow through the valve. The treatment is a valve replacement or sometimes a simple cut in the valve to relieve the stenosis can be done. Either way, if bad enough, surgery is needed, not pills.
Q:thermostatic radiator valves?
Actually, the thermostatic valves do control the temperature of the water in the radiator. I suspect the new boiler is storing water much hotter than the old one, because of the threat of legionella breeding there. A thermostatic mixing valve may have been installed at the point the water leaves the boiler, to introduce cold water as it heads out to the radiators, hoping to make the water closer in temperature to what you actually want in the radiator for heat. If they have the mixer adjusted too hot you can adjust that to have the water leave the mixer cooler than it is now. If there is no mixer in your new installation, then you would need to reduce the setting on your individual radiators to adapt to the hotter water they are using in boilers now, due to legionaire's disease.
Q:Cylinder heads and Exhaust valves?
The only reason to change out a cylinder head is because the exhaust valves have been burnt or the valves in general have been used to a point they don't seat any longer. Which means the engine compression to fire the cylinders on compression stokes is too low to be efficient to operate. Or the cylinder head has a crack in it and leaks water or the compressed gasses from the engine compression blow into the water jacket through the cracks causing the coolant to blow out and the engine to overheat.
Q:headers bad for EGR valves?
It depends on the headers. Some headers are setup with EGR hookups and others do away with them. So you need to check to see if the ones you are looking at retain the EGR and if they do you should have no problems. Also you might have to check the bolts weekly, some headers will get lose over time while others don't.
Q:Can anyone tell me who makes this automatic sprinkler valve?
I dont think they sell just the top plate by itself even if you could determine the mfgd. Cut out the entire old valve and replace it. Its not that big of a job.
Q:EGR Valve Circuit code P0403?
Your old valve was probably stuck open for whatever reason. If it were stuck closed you would feel no difference whatsoever in driving. The EGR doesn't do anything at all for performance. In fact, all it does is recycle unburnable gasses back into the intake, which causes carbon deposits and very well lowers performance (ableit only a little, and it only opens during acceleration and cruising so you don't notice it). That being said, the first thing you should check is your command circuit. Is there a vacuum line coming to the valve to open it by vacuum, or are there wires going to it? If it is a vacuum line, then check it very carefully for breaks. If it is electrically controlled, a remote-mount solenoid may be the problem, or if it is integral, I would start looking at the sensor (there are a few different types of EGR position sensors, and they may all be the culprit). This code most likely comes from the sensor detecting that the valve is not opening. Keep in mind this will be the valve, something that controls the valve, or the sensor that monitors the valve.

You never mentiond what type of Valve Covers you Had ..Aluminum or Stamped steel.... I am supposing that you have a Chevy engine...Now the FIX......I get 10 points if I get it right,,,,, Providing you scraped and cleaned All surface area; here it is..... If it is a Stamped steel Valve cover then you have to Flatten with a Hammer the area where the bolt holes are on the Valve cover.. Now Go to an Auto Parts store or a Performance Parts warehouse and ask for an EXTRA THICK valve cover Gaskets ,Usually made by Fel-pro or Mr. Gasket...they are made out of cork or Rubber.. They even have a gasket that Sandwiches a Thin Sheet of metal between two Neoprene Gaskets ..I think it is made by The same companies...I prefer this....I use to Build Race Car Engines and operated a Auto Machine Shop...
