Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.

As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

As the above graphic instruction,the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition,medium requirement,seal requirement,etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve,installed on the body,which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force.When secondary seal is required,there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring.The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball,and then stop the leakage.

Q:The water shutoff valvue has a slow leak where the hose connects. Its right were the hose to the tank connects to the shutoff valve.....I also noticed when I close the shut off valve it doesnt stop the water completely. Does the whole setup need to be replaced, and if so, is it difficult? Or will just replacing the hose correct the leak?I figured the constant running wasnt a huge deal if there was no leak because you leave the water on anyways, so there is always constant water pressure there.
I'M plumber : sound like just need to replace the gasket in both ends of the hoses,some times this get worn or not tide enough

are you sure its the egr valves going bad or not the egr solenoids causing you to get the code,that will make it appear that an egr has gone bad when it really hasn't,good luck.

Q:what is the average cost to replace a valve core on a car? also can any car shop do it or do i have to go to a conrads etc.
You can do it yourself very cheaply. All you need to do is go to Walmart or a Auto parts store and get four valve cores and a valve core remover, then go to a gas station the has a air compressor. Remove the valve cores and put the new ones in, you don't have to let all the air out Just put the new valve core in and air the tire back up. I would check the old valve cores before I changed them or have them changed by mixing water and soap together and put in on the top of the valve core, if it bubbles then you need to replace them, if it doesn't bubble someone is just try to scam you.
Q:I have to get a new vacuum switching valve for my 1987 toyota pickup. I was just wondering what it does, and if a broken one would cause my truck to not idle. It still runs fine when i drive it, but when i push the clutch in the RPM's get really low until it dies.

I would think the easiest way would be to put a thermometer on the radiator (with the bulb in the air flow), turn the heat on to one setting and record the temperatures each half hour for about 4 hours. Then, turn the adjustment to a higher (or lower) number and repeat that. That way, you'd know which way to turn to set it. Of course, the level at which you'd be comfortable would be found by trying different settings. Assuming the adustment is a valve, valves in the USA will open by turning counter-clockwise. Closing is, of course, clockwise. Hope that helps. EDIT: I received your email - I don't mind at all! OK, so you have only one valve for all the radiators. Without knowing anything else, I'd say you just removed the part called the bonnet (the upper half of a valve). It shouldn't matter which number it's set on if it's reinstalled correctly. When a valve is removed, the best way to put back is to open it slightly (turn counterclockwise to a low number), then reinstall the bonnet. Once it's back in, it should work like normal. If that doesn't work, perhaps you can get a plumber or a local handyman to check it. As to the upper ones being airlocked, it really sounds like there is a blockage in the supply line. I am assuming this is steam-heat radiator that is supplied by a boiler-type heating unit?
Q:I've been working on cars since around march of 2012. I new. I have a set of 305 heads that were really dirty. It came from a 79 camaro that never had an Oil change. I took the valves out and the valves are pretty burnt. I was wondering If I cleaned them up would they still be good to use? The edges aren't rough or anything. Not really. If you got the head off, you should replace them.

The valve's are in the head or head's and they need to be lined up with your crankshaft in order for the engine to be in time , if they was'nt in time with the crank they would hit at the wrong time and your engine would be junk.
Q:I have a Chevy Silverado 2500 5.7L V8. I have been having problems with passing smog. First one failed because it needed a new cat. Replaced it and tested again. NOx emissions are off the chart (1450/1006 max of 992/59615/25mph). I replaced the EGR valve based on a suggestion. Quick test today said the NOx emissions are still way off. Suggested that I change the EGR solenoid valve and also pull the EGR valve and use a coat hanger to clean some of the carbon build up. I purchased a new solenoid today but looking at it I noticed something. Since there are what are appear to be two ports on one side of the solenoid, I must have replaced the vacuum hose onto the wrong one after replacing the EGR valve. How much would this make a difference on the test readings taken? Would it be beneficial to just replace the solenoid anyway or try to test again with the current one but connected properly?
if the spark plugs are bad the oxygen sensor with sense the exhaust is not hot enough and the computer with allow the injectors to let more gas in thinking that since theres no fire it needs more gas causing it to run like its flooding and exhaust readings will be high. make sure the air filters clean
