Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.

As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Q: I have a 2005 Dodge Durango and had problems with stalling. I took it into the dealer with warranty on it. They said the ECG Valve is busted and its unsafe to drive. Can you guys tell me what the function of this part is?
There's no such thing as an ECG valve on any automobile. You're probably referring to the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve. It's purpose is to pipe a little bit of the exhaust gases back into your cylinders at higher RPMs to both promote cleaner emissions and to cool down the combustion chambers to help prevent knocking and pinging. However, in time an EGR valve can eventually get clogged with carbon which can cause it to get stuck open, which would cause an excessively lean condition during idle and can cause the car to stall. It then needs to be either cleaned (with plenty of carburetor cleaner spray) or replaced. I generally wouldn't say that a defective EGR would make a car unsafe, unless perhaps there's a big crack in it and exhaust gases (carbon monoxide) are leaking into the engine compartment/vents. I would, though, take a little extra care when crossing railroad tracks or turning in front of fast-moving traffic. Stalling there could possibly turn you into a coroner's curiosity.
Q: When using seafoam through the PCV valve. Which side contains the vacuum? From the crank case of intake manifold? The brake booster line is very difficult to access and on their site it says I can apply seafoam through the pcv valve.
On most engines the PCV Valve is located on the valve cover. You would remove the PCV valve from the valve cover but leave it connected to the vacuum hose. Otherwise you would have a severe vacuum leak and the engine would race wildly. With the PCV valve still in place the engine would idle somewhat normally. Pour the Sea Foam directly into the PCV valve. The Sea Foam would be sucked into the PCV valve and into the intake manifold. Be careful not to over do it on the first application. If this has not been done for a few years enough gunk can be washed out of the intake manifold that it can foul the catalytic converter. I would apply the Sea Foam. Have a friend shut off the engine while the Sea Foam is added. Allow the Sea Foam to soak for several minutes and do its job. Reconnect the PCV valve. Start the engine and drive the vehicle for several miles. This will allow the catalytic converter to burn off the gunk that and Sea Foam that has passed through the engine. Repeat as necessary.

You have to remove VVA. Its a general tune-up #1cyl at TDC adjust: Intake valve: 1, 2, 4 Exhaust valve: 1, 3, 5 Injectors: 6, 3, 5 #6cyl at TDC adjust: Intake valve: 6, 3, 5 Exhaust valve: 6, 2, 4 Injectors: 1, 2, 4 You gotta use a feeler gauge for the valves and a pin tool (looks like an alen wrench)...(I don't remember the specs, so you'll have to fine those yourself) For injectors your need a special tool (timing pin) to adjust the height (there is also a spec for that) You'll need a pin tool for the valves and injectors plus wrenches to tighten the nut after the adjustment. Valves: loosen up the nut, put the feeler gauge between the rocker arm and the valve, turn the alen wrench till the rocker arm reaches the feeler gauge...make sure the feeler gauge is kinda loose between them but tight...then tighten the nut (there is a torque spec) Injectors: loosen up the nut, set the timing pin on top of the injector, turn the ajustment screw w/ alen wrench till timing pin reaches a lil notch, then tighten the nut till it's tight (also need a torque spec) Afterwards you'll need to adjust VVA... I'm giving you somewhat of a general idea. If you are attempting to do this, you should get a manual.
Q: the water coming out of the kitchen faucet has been getting weaker and weaker this week and now it flows a 3 out of 10. The thought it might be time to replace the faucet/faucet washer. I went to turn off the water under the sink.. hot and cold valve but water still comes out of the faucet with enough force aka not a dip but free flowing water. I turned the red handle valve to off as well but same thing. I am totally thrown off. HOt and cold water still comes out of faucet. When I push the faucet handle down, the water does not stop right away as well but slowly stops. No problem water into dish washer. I have replaced numerous faucets but I can not figure how water is still getting to the faucet after turning all 3 valves to shut off position. I still think it might be the faucet but now I am not sure. I am close to calling a plumber but really do not want to do that. thx
shut off you water main first so you can check on your kitchens isolation valves. unscrew your valve try to replace the wornout rubber gasket. unscrew your faucet and clean the faucet with brush and clean the strainer of your faucet. change the gasket or ceramic valve of your fauset replace them. i hope this will solve your problem.
Q: Just bought car used. It is an 88 Toyota Corolla Fx. It is leaking and loosing a lot of oil. The EGR valve is spraying pretty badly. All hoses are fine. Seems to be in the seal. Is this the possible fix I need to solve these problems? Cleaned and inspected engine for other leaks and found none. Please help. Very poor and highly motivated to fix this car up.
Hello, The EGR valve will not spray oil, It is an exhaust gas recirculation valve that does not have oil get to it!! Please add more info so we can better answer your question . Thanks for additional info. But I don't think you know what the EGR valve is. Engine oil should not be spraying from the EGR valve ! Maybe you are trying to describe another part? Also, You need to fix the wheel cylinder or caliper before you can bleed the brakes. Maybe you need a mechanic to assist you. Good luck !
Q: So the plug in the bathroom since fell in, coming off the attachment to open and close it from the top. When I got under the sink, I turned the shut off valves all the way to the right and the water stoped working. I unscrewed the attachment and fixed the plug (on the drain no the water) and when I turned the vlaves back on, no water. It dribbles just a little ifi turn the sink all the way on, however I cant get full water pressure. Any help?
Valves could be limed up or you may have not have a good valve since you shut it off, it could have been damaged. You may have to replace the valves and be done with it.

If an egr valve opens too soon you will have a hesitation problem. Bad egr's do not cause problems with drive-ability at cruising speed. It sounds like your egr is faulty.

My aortic valve (amongst other things) were replaced/repaired during an emergency aortic dissection surgery. My surgeon chose the mechanical valve for me. I am hopeful that it will last a long time (I am only 26) so that I can minimize the need to undergo replacement surgeries. Yearly, I see my cardiologist -- they do a CT scan and check to ensure the valve is functioning properly. The valve does have a loud click to it -- it's something that you notice a lot when you first get it, but after a little while you hardly notice it.
