Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q: I recently had an echo and they said their was a slight tricuspid valve leak but it was 19 and anything less than 20 is considered normal. I have no clue what that means. Does any one have and clue on what scale she was talking about. Also she stated that the machine are so sensitive these days that the majority of people are found to have some sort of leak. Is this the case??????
The tricuspid valve is a valve in your heart that, like any other valve, makes the blood flow in only one direction. When your heart pumps blood into your body, this valve is normally closed so the heart only pumps it in your arteries, and not back in your veins whence it came. When this valve doesn't close shut completely, a little quantity of blood leaks through the little opening there. You can see this with an echocardiography which you said you had done. Yes, the value of 19 is really low, and the fact that the limit to normality is 20, so you're close to it, doesn't mean that you're almost sick. Keep in mind that these limits that doctors have are some guidelines, and they all have a safe zone. Plus, this is not the kind of lesion that evolves, it doesn't mean that as the years go by the little space in your valve will get bigger and bigger - nothing of that sort. It is probably a thing that you had since forever, and you will have it the same your whole life with no problems at all. In the end, let me say that if you are brave enough to go to a doctor (many people aren't, and that really sucks), you should be brave enough to ask him/her what they mean when they say certain stuff, without worrying that your question might be stupid or already answered. You didn't go to med school, and it is the doctor's duty to explain to you what is happening in your body just as it is to diagnose and treat you. Best of luck!
Q: I wanna do it myself My dad knows how But i must buy the parts I have a rmz250 and i was wondering if u can jus buy valves and seals and jus put them in without grinding since the seals are new i heard u must gring the seals to get the valves to sit flush againt the metal serface but cant u jus buy new seals and retainers and put that in plus the valves and ur done?
you *can* just put the valves seals in and run it but it is NOT recommended. If you want the best seal which will = the most power, the valve seats need to be cut. If your not running a titanium intake you could get away with just lapping the valves with course and then fine lapping compound. I know a lot of people who just lap them in, but the most professional way with the best results is to cut the seats.
Q: okay, where the dome is on the head (where the flat part of the valves sit) the intake is uneven and the air+gas mixture escapes threw the open space when the piston goes up into the compression stage, and ignites shooting flames out of my exhaust port. the space is small but u can see light threw it when the valve sits there. Would some kind of Liquid metal work? or gas+heat resistant epoxy work to take the place of the missing space? I would file it but that would not be precise and time consuming, and i would buy a new head for $150, but the dealer doubles that price! and no way am i paying $300 for a new head. any comments would be well appreciated!
Do as Guardrail Jim says. Liquidmetal won't take the heat.
Q: I have a training I will be attending on Valve actuator and subsequently an exam. I need fundamental knowledge of ROV. What are the types of ROV. The Maintenance Of ROV ? and the different Type of ROV actuators
The term remote operated valve is slightly misleading, as it really means remotely controlled valve. Normally the valve actuator is mounted directly on the valve body so that it can open and close the valve. The majority of valves are either rotary ball or sliding gate type. Valve actuators can be operated by electrical methods, pneumatic or hydraulic, or by a combination. The most common types of actuator for industrial use are motorised electrical and pneumatic. Motorised valves will have a reversible motor for opening and closing, whilst pneumatic types will have a double acting cylinder with a 5 port 2 position or 3 position control valve. The control contactors and valves would be located in a control room, possibly controlled by a PLC or similar automation controller. In most cases position feedback will be supplied from the valve by means of limit switches to indicate its position, and in the case of motorised actuators, the running current can be monitored as an indicator of valve condition. If a pneumatic valve is jammed, the actuator will simply stall without damage, but for electrical actuators some form of overload protection is required to prevent excessive current load and overheating. The majority of industrial valves require little maintenance, but regular inspection for security, electrical connections, gland sealing etc should be scheduled at intervals suitable for the working environment.
Q: I think the piece leaking is a valve;it is one solid piece of copper with two tubes, one which is a half inch that connectsinto the incoming hot water and then a small outgoing one that connects to the faucet and I don't know how to find a replacement part .. I think it is a Delta but I am not sure ... the house is 10 years old but where can I just find a valve instead of replacing the entire faucet if I don't know what the make or model is ?Any websites with pics of replacement valves for Roman Tubs??
Remove the valve and take it to a plumbing supply store. Home Depot and the like may have what you're looking for; but you're more likely to find it at a plumber's supply. They are the only ones I've ever found who carry odd bits.
Q: so here are the details. i've been using my trumpet for about 6-8 years now and 1 if not 2 valves get stuck on my trumpet. the problem is not the oil as i have over oiled them too and no go. its that when i try to put my valves back in their place and twist them they don't stay in place, move ,and making either my valves stuck or making my trumpet not do a sound. what should i do? repair shop or buy a new one? i hear the clicking sound when i put them back but still all that does is either make my valve more sticky
Your first step is to clean the valves and the casings. You'll need a casing brush or soft cloth you can run through the casing to clean them. Start with warm soapy water (dish washing soap) then clean them with alcohol--if you don't have alcohol use a water with a little vinegar added. You may need to let the valves soak a bit to loosen everything up. Remove the soap and alcohol from the casings and the tubing--rinse the valves and pat them dry. Inspect them for damage, if none is found then oil the valves and re-install them. If that doesn't work take it to a shop. Don't try lapping your valves yourself.
Q: Holding my right hand up, I am a newbie :) any help is greatly appreciated.a) Comparing the shape of the valve to a golf tee, what is the correct name for the thinnest section of the valve(the part of the golf tee that goes into the ground)b) What is the correct name for the widest section of the valve(the part of the golf tee that the ball is placed on.c) The cylinder that the valve moves up and down in, is it just called the valve cylinder?d) In the valve cylinder?, how does the widest part of the valve keeps things sealed. Does it use a ring(simmilar to pistons) or is it some type of gasket material or is it just zero clearance metal to metal.e) The section of the (valve cylinder?) that is above the seal point or basicaly where the valve spring and the thinnest part of the valve is, does oil flow through here?f) Do (valve cylinders?) generate enough heat to warrant the need for coolant?Newbie City, I know. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.TY
stem, surface, valve guide, o rings in some. some valve guides are plastic with no clearance. yes oil flow, yes water flows through the heads to cool vales and head.
Q: Are all the valve created games tied together somehow? Except for TF2 like in portal 2 glados says she might start a hobby of reanimating the dead so is that left 4 dead?
there are lots of possibilities. in left 4 dead Ellis once said he played team fortress 2 and Louis has played half-life. plus in portal there are several references to black mesa which was in the first half-life, also in half-life episode 2 you see an aperture science ship called the Borealis which hints at what happened in the time of portal 2. so in turn there are plenty of connections of between the valve universe's but no actual crossover has actually happened. but a big connection between two games i cant quite figure out. in left 4 dead 2 at the dark carnival you can win a garden gnome in a shooting gallery, if you can get the gnome all the way to the end of the level you win an achievement. but strangely in half-life episode 2 you can find a garden gnome at the beginning of the game and get it all the way to the base where you can stick inside a rocket where later you can blast it off into space! whats strange about this is there no clear connection between half-life 2 episode 2 and left 4 dead 2, since its already established that half-life is a video game in the left 4 dead universe. i mean in fiction most crossovers involve some kind of dimensional rift or tare, or even a portal...wait a second.
Q: I have a 4 diameter column of water 10' tall (filled with water). I need to find a flush valve unit to fit into the bottom of it so that it will flush all of the water out of the column in 1 flush. Essentially this will act as a large toilet but it is for a design project at school. My concerns are that the flapper will close before the water is completely flushed out of the column. Is there any way I can make the flapper stay open thus flushing all the water in column out without holding the chain connecting the float to the flapper valve?
This is an interesting problem. I suggest you study the action of a toilet flush mechanism. Don't have the flapper on the outside, have it on the inside at the bottom of the column, in a small chamber. Use a flapper of very light material, such as a ping-pong ball, which will float on almost no water. (You don't say how fast the column has to drain.) A thought just occured - if the flapper were actually a floating ball, you could pull it up from above, and it would rise to the surface, then follow the water level down, and close it when empty with only a trace of water remaining. I can think of no simpler way to accomplish this challange. Good luck with the project.
