Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q: I have a Burnt Valve in my Ford 302 EFI Crown Victoria. I know that i will have to have machine work done to the head but im not even gonna mess around im going to just pull both my heads off since theres alot to remove to even get to the heads i Just need a list of parts that i'm gonna have to buy for this project
take the heads to your local automotive machine shop and have them do the valve job they will fix whats wrong with your heads.and for parts you will need a head set gasket kit from auto zone or summit racing, and new spark plugs wire's oil, antifreeze, belts water pump since you have the room to get to it now,
Q: My 99 accord has been smoking bluish white smoke out of the exhaust only at high RPMS- 5000 and up, but NOT at lower RPMS. Obviously I rarely go that high, but I've feared the worst. I've checked the coolant, its green without contamination. today a mechanic discovered that someone installed the wrong pcv valve on the car- the one that belongs on the v6 model, and that it is somehow larger. the mechanic suggested it was possible that this was the cause of the smoke- the oil was getting into the intake manfold, and into the cat, and that when the engine is at higher rpms, and the gases/ heat increase, it burns up the oil in the manifold/cat. He said IF that is the cause it should clear up in a week or so. Does this sound to good to be true? or is it possible? the car does have 160,000 on it, but i've owned several hondas with much more mileage that didn't smoke at all.
The PCV valve is a possibility but the more probable cause on your car is that the spark plug tube seals are leaking oil. The 4 cylinder hondas have tubes that surround the spark plugs that run from the valve cover to the top of the cylinder head. There are gaskets on the valve cover to keep oil from getting into the tube from the top and seals at the bottom to keep oil from getting into the tubes from the bottom. on older hondas the tubes fill up with oil and the oil works its way into the engine combustion chambers through the spark plug threads. its real easy to see if this is the problem. Usually you can just pull each of the spark plug wires off. If the end of the spark plug wire is wet then you have leaking tube seals. Typically the seals on the valve cover can be replaced for about $50. if it requires the lower seals its pretty pricy. I think that's what you're going to find. PCV failures are rare as are valve seal leaks or internal engine wear problems on hondas. hope that helps hope that helps
Q: How do you repack an osy valve? Where do you get the packing from? Do you have to shut down the water to do it?
For most valves, replacing the packing can be done without shutting down the water system. The first step is to back seat the valve. Back seating will occur when the valve is fully opened, and will temporarily seal the leak around the stem. You simply open the valve completely with about 50-100ft-lb of pressure. Once the leaking has stopped, you can remove the packing bolts and nuts on the packing gland. Slide the packing gland up the stem and you will have access to the packing. You may need a packing hook, which is a flexible corkscrew tool, to help remove the old packing. Once you have removed the old packing you will want to repack the valve with new packing by wrapping it around the stem and pushing it down into the valve body. After the new packing has been replaced, it may need to be compressed a little so that the packing gland can be reinstalled. This can be done using two pieces of all-thread rod. Cut both all-thread rods to 6 inches long, making sure to use the same diameter all-thread rod as your packing bolts. Place the all-thread rod through the packing gland and tighten the nuts onto the all-thread rod to compact the packing in the valve. Next, remove the all-thread rod and replace with the bolts. Turn the hand wheel, so the valve is about half way open. Finally, tighten the nuts evenly until all leakage around the stem stops. You may need to exercise the valve a few times to make sure there are no leaks around the stem. Be careful not to over tighten the gland because it can crack and there is no reason to compress the packing more than is needed to stop the leak.
Q: its rated 120 VAC/26VA (3 prongs, one for ground) . I also have a horizontal level switch for liquid with rating 120 VAC/0.28 A (the switch will connect when the water level reach the target) normally open. How can I wire them so that when the level reached the valve will close and water will not flow into the tank? The switch is inside the tank and the valve connecting the pipe for feed water. Thanks
I okorder / and if they dont have the answer for you, then go to the parts page and buy the book. - its cheap
Q: Why do we use in chilled water pipe network utilizing 2 way valves on all terminals except the last terminal we use a 3 way valve, also another question what does a pump shutt off pressure means
A three-way valve on a chiller increases efficiency by allowing return water to mix with a small amount of the water being supplied to the loop. These valves are sometimes mechanical to allow water to recirculate through the chiller to keep the chiller running during low ambient conditions. A pump shut off pressure, is the pressure at which the pump control turns the pump off. If a system needs 60psi to run efficiently, the pump control will be set at 60psi.
Q: .The valve behind the toilet is spewing water (we have connected a hose to it and have it emptying into the tub). When we try to shut the water off from that valve, the knob or turny-thingy (the name escapes me right now) just turns and turns correcting the water flow slightly, but not shutting it off.The problem it that we can't find the main water valve outside the house. What am I looking for please?!? Also, we shut a valve off in the garage, but it was for the hot water.Help!
find the house water meter located a the edge of the street in your yard and turn the main valve off
Q: like they say on 4 strokes you gotta go get valve jobs, and they cost bout 300 they say? well what does the mechanic do? can it be done at home and your just adjusting them?
Take the head to a machine shop you have to grind the valves or replace then,Same with the seats Then replace the guides and adjust the valves Not a driveway Job
Q: On a Chevrolet truck with a V8...One valve cover has a PVC valve and the other a push-in breather. Would it hurt to put a second PVC valve in so I have one on each side and run 3/8 hose to a T fitting then to the carburator? Good/Bad/Wouldn't hurt?
No No No, The PVC valve removes a measured amount of crankcase blow by, oil vapor and water to be re-burned in the combustion chambers for emissions standards. The breather in the valve cover is needed to let atmospheric pressure in the crankcase to replace the air the PVC valve and hose has already been removed. I think you've been reading up on dry sump systems. Race engines make more power with a crankcase under vacuum while running.
Q: My furnace cut out about a year ago. The hvac guy i used told me the gas valve was no good and that the flu was partially blocked. I cleaned out the flu, he replaced the gas valve ($700+) and it worked great for a year. Today the furnace does not fire up. Pilot is working. I cleaned out the flu (there was definitely quite a bit of debris, so that was probably the cause for the shut off) .... The flu is now clear, but when i turn the system back on the thermostat calls for heat, but there is no gas flow to the burner... could the valve have failed that quick, or should i be looking at something else like the CO sensor or something... just looking for some direction before shelling out another 700 bucks... Thanks in advance for any ideas or assistance....
I was wondering why the flue is clogged? I've never had to clean mine. Well anyway, I use a shop vac to vacuum out any dust or rust that accumulates on the gas valve on the rare occasions it failed to work, and that fixed it every time.
