You can't fix this for free.unless you know someone who will fix it for you. The screen has to be replaced. Kits can be purchased from a hardware store. You will need spline, screen and a tool especially made for replacing the spline. The spline is long rubbery stuff that holds the screen in. The tool looks similar to a pizza cutter. This is a very inexpensive repair but not free.

They won't shut themselves off. It has to be manually done unless you feel like waiting for the batteries to run out. Are you talking about your own personal alarms or are you in an apartment building or office? You might need to let someone know that they need to be turned off. Q:My computer was stuck in reboot everytime I turned it on so I installed xp again. When I ran the install I didn't delete the other install that was stuck in reboot. It runs fine now but I'm trying to access my pictures from when it use to run fine. My login now is desktop at the home screen but when I go into my computer it lists my other login name from the previous install. So does that mean my old files are still on the computer? It says access is denied when I try to open it. It said something about two installs being on the same partition? And also, other than the fact that there is a pond, or some sort of body of water, I don't know the setting. Lesson you should do (even though I doubt you will be able to do this incredibly simple task judging by your obvious lack of any talent): Write a whole page on what is surrounding you at this moment, and go into detail. Don't just say: The labtop is white. The floor is tan. The ceiling is low. This second time we got lucky and caught it VERY early (barely had started having a temp). Both times it has (thankfully) responded to Vancomyacin. I know I am at increased risk of Staph MRSA blood infections due to my 6x/week dialysis schedule and am looking for any/all information I can get on minimizing or eliminating my ongoing risk.
