- Q: We're trying to get inspiration for this project. We want something less expensive than a regular bed frame and easy to move, in other words as easy to break down and load up as possible. We have already bought a queen mattress, 9 cement blocks, and four 40x30 inch three-quarter thick plywood boards to do a basic platform bed. But after getting the materials I realized how short this bed is going to be. I want it more traditional height. I could go get 9 more blocks to make it 8 inches taller but really the first round of blocks are more than I want to fool with when we're moving.So after googling, I found the milk crate &amp; board foundation idea. But by the time I buy enough crates, and considering the money I've already spent on all the cement blocks, we could buy a traditional frame.Anybody have ideas on something else to use? Lightweight but sturdy. And cheap? Or know of any place to buy the rigid crates less than $10 a piece?Thanks

- try it on a smoother platform....wood? maybe. try using sneakers or some sort of a shoe that has a rubbery feel on the bottom. because, the concrete here is very scratchy and has many bumps. it gets annoying i cant even stand on a skateboard without hurting 1 part of my body here. haha. tried it. lol

- Q: i glued a piece of regular printer paper to a piece of matboard as part of an art project. since i applied rubber cement to both the paper and the board, it bonded quite strongly. the problem is that now i have to remove the paper with the least amount of damage to the matboard. the paper is white and the board is black. its been over a week since i glued the two together. HELP!! i need this for school and it has to look good...any suggestions??im going to throw the paper away, so that can be damaged in the process. no problem.

- Q: I have Joint Compound and cement board tape, How do i fix a 6 inch hole in drywall? Anything else I Need?
- Stuff the hole with balled up newspaper first. Otherwise your tape will not hold well. A better way to fix a hole that large would be to pick up a scrap of drywall, cut the hole square to the center of the studs on either side, attach the patch, and tape and mud the seams. Good luck.
