- Q: I wonder if anyone could help me with any special tools I might need when removing wheels on motorbikes to change the Tyre‘s for instance on my Suzuki if I want to remove the front wheel I have a bolt and two nuts that fits into the socket of the axle shaft to remove it and I wonder if anyone knew of any other situations that standard tools simply are not enough.thanks
- well you need tire tools to remove the tire from the wheel they make the one that have a protective cover so they don't scar the wheel try online denis kirk if you looking to buy them. or any other tire or motorcyctel supply store.
- Q: considering that a bike is much lighter in weight.
- motorcycle tires use a softer compound which wears a lot faster compared to the harder compunds on cars and of course the shape of the tire has something to do with it as well. motorcyles need these softer compounds so that it grips the road at higher speeds because of the lack of weight.

- Neither tire is bad but I prefer michelin. They always seem to steer faster and last longer, 2 traits that anyone could probably appreciate. At the limit handling is among the best as well.

- Looks like automobile tires, AKA the Dark Side. If all you care is looks, and don't care if you crash, use car tires. If you ride 10,000 miles a year, and ride easy, use car tires. Otherwise, get motorcycle tires -- your skin will prefer it.

- Motorcycle tire longevity is a direct reflection of the riding style. I have gotten as little as 3000 out of a rear tire and as long as 12,000 out of a rear tire on the same bike. Just like a car-fast start, stops, and cornering will wear out the tires faster. Oil changes on bikes is very easy. Chain adjustments are also very easy. Any of the three bikes you listed would be good bikes as long as they fit you. They may be a bit larger for a starter bike, you may want to get something used, cheap, and beat up to learn on then move to something like the three you have listed.

- It all depends how much money you want to put out. Air shocks are good but shackles are cheaper. IF you have leaf springs in the front you could add one.
