Q: I'm comparing the GP 6500 with 389 cc engine (splash lubrication) to the XG 6500 with a 410 cc industrial engine (oil pump pump lubrication). I would be using it for home emergency use, so I doubt I really need the industrial engine with oil pump. Over 10 years it will probably only get 100 hours on the engine mostly at a consistent 50% load with occasional short term peaks closer to max (toaster, sump pump coffee pot, etc). So I'm leaning towards the cheaper GP. But want to consider the following:Are they both easy to pull start? The biggest engine I pull start is my snowblower with a 250cc OHV Briggs. But when starting only the engine is turned, i.e. it's not engaged to the snowblower yet. The hardest thing I have to start is my power washer with a 160cc OHV Kohler. I think because it's directly connected to the pump which makes it harder to start.Is the XG industrial engine quieter than the GP engine?: Generac Xp

Thanks!: C Class had a lot of problems on electrical equipments, but most of them were correct by 2003. I'm having a C 230 2.5 V6, it's not Kompressor. I've been driving it for more than a year already and there isn't any problem. I put in both 95 octane and sometimes E10 and it doesn't have any problem except sometimes the ! sign shows up on the metre. But, I was told before by Mercedes engineer that the car might get confused on different octane or mixture of the petrol. I stop the engine and start again and the sign disappear. C class from 2007 onward has the sensor to measure the octane of the petrol you put in. It takes from 91 to 98 without problem. It's a good car, I haven't paid more than engine oil and some filters for the first year. Each time cost me less than 200 dollars. I have the AMG version, the car is lower and suspensions are very stiff. It grips the road very well, and I can do more than 200 KMH.

Also, are the batteries rechargeable? I would assume so in this case. I suspect that it would take a indeterminate period of time (at this point) for there to be a payoff for a battery run home to be less expensive that a conventionally powered home. Part of a conventionally powered home possibly being cheaper in the beginning would be the mass production of devices. When your cousin says things are powered by batteries, is it a battery bank supplying a converter of DC to AC or are his devices running soley on DC supplies? The best way to resolve the answer is to calculate all the electrical costs that go into powering his home and then also calculate how much it would be to run a similar home on the grid. There might also be a few costs that are left out due to their choices of what to leave out of their home or how they accomplish or forego the luxury of in their home. At this point, there are probably not enough studies available to get a general consenus of which is cheaper. There is also another point to consider which is how often do they have to replace their batteries?
