- it depends on how you like it personally i like it grilled or baked with onions since it is your first time i would go with baking only b/c it is easy what you do is take the salmon and season it with what ever you like and then put it in a foil pan you can get from a dollar store about 4 for a buck the small ones put the salmon in with the onions and a little butter so it does not dry out cover with foil cook for about 20 min on 350 good luck
