Q: Does anyone have any links to a SPECIFIC area rug that will go with a black sofa? I have an apt with medium brown wood pallette floors, and white walls. ANY help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
Here's okorder /
Q: What is the specific practice of the new laying carpet?
Use special steel nails to nail mound layer and carpet into the concrete floor. 1 Unfixed laying carpet, coat adhesive along four sides. The ground is tiled the carpet. This laying has the following three ways, planishing is ok, laid to the required position, select the upper floating 5-10mm thick carpet, amount of glue is 0.05 kg per square meter. Put 20mm * 30MM or 10mm * 25MM wood mound layer around carpet: Put a 100mm wide strip of linen in carpet seams, amount of glue is 0.8 kilograms per square meter. If you want to double the carpet. The three fixed carpet method, or spread to the wall. If the carpet needs to be connected. The hook fixation method; it can cover the whole room, away from the wall around 20mm, coat with adhesive, you can also do local pave, then align at, lay 5mm thick rubber foam carpet liner; also can use adhesive to coat into some 1 meters square box in the ground, then lay carpet on it. The width of hook is about 25mm or so. 2 fixed laying: The paste method, put the carpet hanging on the hook, before laying the carpet, it needs to splice seams neatly, the width of gumming is 100-150mm. This method is to use steel nails to install batten with hook in the room surrounded by the ground . The layering fixing method. The method of the seam between the carpet and the carpet is that the laying of the carpet mainly has two kinds of fixed and non fixed. Paste the carpet and a leveling layer, this is more suitable for room decoration which not often change room
Q: what color should I choose....my walls are already a shade of green so I'm kind of looking for another color.
I think a brown non-solid rug would look nicer... this pink solid colored rug may draw too much attention away from the bed. Color-wise, it should be fine if you like the rug that much, but I honestly think it'll take too much attention away from the bed sheets.
Q: I just recently moved and the carpet in the bedroom is brown. I don't have the money to replace it, but I would like to brighten it. I can tell at one point it was a very dark brown and has lightened up over time. I would like to know how to darken it without having to replace it yet. Is there a way to darken it?
It would be less expensive to replace the carpet, using a carpet remnant available from a specialized carpet store. Take your room measurements with you and look around. These carpet stores are anxious to sell these remnants and will take a reasonable offer on them. Nylon carpet is perhaps the easiest carpet to dye and going from a light color is the best choice when dyeing this fiber. Olefin carpet cannot be dyed. Polyester carpets, made from recycled plastic bottles is relatively inexpensive to begin with and is, in my estimation and experience, not worth dyeing. If you follow through with the replacement, carefully examine the carpet pad to see if it to should be replaced. Removing the old carpet and pad is relatively easy and something you can do your self with a utility knife. Cut it in smaller pieces from the backside to make removal easier. If you shop for a remnant, make an offer they cannot refuse.
Q: what kinds of carpets are there?
Blanket material: two main techniques between PP and nylon : the types of the carpet back are plain polypropylene jacquard wave, plain nylon jacquard wave and nylon jacquard wave and so on.
Q: What are the types of Persian rugs?
i'm persian and living in iran but i'm not a rug seller and cant help u more
Q: The canister filter on (specifically, directly under) my 55 gallon sprung a leak, and in total has leaked 20+ gallons of nitrate-laden water onto the carpet around the stand. The canister is undergoing repairs ATM but the carpet is still soaked. Will I have to break down the aquarium and pull up the carpet, or can I keep mold from growing another way? Also, the canister was removed and will not be back up for at least a day, so how long can I keep my fish in there without an ammonia spike?
first of all search for the water line going into your water heater and close off the water and then call a plumber and performance them pop out they're going to guard something like checking for mildew and getting it treated considering that maximum plumbers have emergency amenities on p.c. dial. they're going to be waiting to restoration your complications immediately
Q: I just need to average pricing for carpets. I don't need instalation, just the carpet itself. The carpet I need to match is kind of a cheaply made carpet, my dog tore it up trying to get out of the bedroom.
You just have to go to a local carpet store and ask.
Q: could i turn my highland out in winter with a summer turnout/sheet with a rambo fleece underneath ( best fleece on the market ) because hes a highland i dont want him caked in thick heavy turnouts. i just think a summer turnout would be enough to keep the snow off his fleece which is really what i want. i will only use this method on snowy/frosty days.
Yeah maybe. But the thin rug may rip easily if he rolls on frosty ground and catches himself, or the snow may melt in the middle of the night and the water will seep through the rug and soak the fleece. You would be better off buying a proper turnout rug. Just use a old summer sheet and see if it works, if not, buy a turnout rug. Good luck! x x :)
Q: My cat is 2 1/2 yrs old and I've had him since he was 6 months old. Within this past couple of months he started pooping for some reason on one of my kitchen rugs. I've tried everything to correct this. I've used Nature's Miracle, Vinegar, other pet odor removers, put food in the spot so he would avoid the area, and not only changed litters but changed to scoopable. NOTHING has helped!! At first changing the litters seem to help and I scooped it out every couple of days. My only other choice is to scoop it out every day and/or put him in a cage for a week all day long with his own litter to try and break the habit. Other than that I feel I've run out of options! HELP...I'm at my wits end!!!
My cat poo's on my Kitchen rug too. Just this morning I had to clean up a pile and prepare the rug to wash it again! It's very annoying. The only way I can get him to stop is to make sure that kitty litter box is scooped out atleast twice a day. The days I forget.. then I know I am going to find a pile of poo on that rug. Some cats are just extremely picky about their kitty litter boxes. Maybe try a bigger kitty litter box or if you have the money, get one of those self cleaning ones. Try getting two litter boxes. I do notice that the kitty litter does matter too. When I'm running low on cash I get the dollar store brand. That brand I have to keep super clean but when I get one with the masking order dealy he uses it a little bit more before he decides the floor is his only option. Also I tried removing that one rug and he started using my daughters bed room and my closet which was horrible. So I would suggest dealing with the litter box before trying any potty repellent stuff cause I am sure the cat will just start going some where else in your house.
