If your baby is healthy and you vacuum or sweep pretty often, there's nothing she'll find and eat that's likely to hurt her. It's giving her little immune system a chance to grow stronger. Not only did both our babies like carpet food, but our carpet seemed to attract baby food.

Q:Which is more socially responsible: a machine made or hand made rug?

Child labor is so frowned upon in the rug importing community, it's rather difficult to find products made with child labor anymore. Many higher end handmade rug manufacturers and importers actually sponsor schools and housing for their workers' families - see Rugmark and Care Fair. Machine made rugs tend to be of lower quality, and while I wouldn't necessarily say they put people out of work, they do require a lot of energy to run the power looms. Old fashioned hand knotted rugs made on wooden looms are pretty much carbon neutral, and if you buy the ones made with vegetable dyes, they're really quite ethical, relatively speaking.

Q:They always say quot;Oh she went to a red carpet event,quot; or they got her picture at quot;the red carpet?quot; I don't get it! Is it just a RED CARPET that they walk on? What's the purpose? I know this question is stupid... but I'd REALLY like to know. It's killing me. :(

well not all red carpets r acctually red. like at the premiere for charlie and the chocolate factory they had a brown one. but its still called a red carpet. it just means the carpet they lay out that celebrities walk on while doing press interviews and stuff, before a movie premiere or award show or whatever. im not sure why theyr red though... but a red carpet event just means its an event with alot of celebrities and other succesful showbiz people

Q:how or what can i use to get the sticky residue off carpet ? previous owners put vinyl tile over carpet which was stupid does anyone know what i can use to get the sticky residue off carpet?? i have goo gone not sure if it would work does anyone know what would work.. that wouldnt take alot to get it off carpet.. seems to be those self adhesive tiles that are on top of carpet.. i'm lifting tiles off but the residue is on carpet making you stick kinda to carpet.. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!! thank you in advance..

Just tear up the carpet. Maybe you will get lucky and have hardwood floors under it. You can sand and re-finish the floors if they're in bad shape. If no hardwood is under the carpet then yes, you will have to get new carpet.

i think you may be talking about a jewel toned rug. jewel tone colors are bright, deep, and saturated, jewel tones in red, blue, purple, green and yellow can add graphic punch to any room. go to the target website and search for jewel tone rugs. they have a pic of one. hope this helps!

Q:My pony is not clipped and I was wandering what weight rug I should put him in in winter if at all. Should I put him in a stable rug when he is in his stable, and should I put a rug on him when he is out?Should I ride him in an exercise sheet as well?

At my barn, we do not use blankets in the winter- only on Saturdays before a show after we've washed them.
